The amount of patience, hard work and an eye for quality is what defines this wallpaper. Character is painstakingly vectored off a real life toy image with references to screenshots. Despite the difficulty level, ~pvc24 still manages to nicely depict the image in anime fashion and yet able to find the mental strength to come up with a background composition that is both aptly fun and pleasant in atmosphere.

Shadows was the first thing i noticed. Where does the light come from? I see some lights to the left, but to me it seems like the shadow on the fox comes from right/over. The thing that is in the air got shadows that points out that light comes from behind, although i see none. Since this looks like a stadium i suggest you put fragments of light from each corner and add shadows on Luigi and the fox that fits. Also like Loud said, to something with the stars.
The sky is just to plain. Try find some tutorials that might help you. There is a group on AP called the Resource Poll, and you might find something helpful there.
Luigi seems a little bad quality to me. You said you vectored him, but to me it looks like a painting that have been resized. His ear and the rest of his face don't connect either. And the fox have good details and Luigi got plain colors which looks a bit weird to me.
Continue to play around and you will improve like most of us.

The Lacus picture is a vector, right? You MUST credit a vector IF it was done by someone else...
From what i see it's a scan, and you don't have to credit unless stated in the submission.
The wall: It looks like Lacus is floating, youi should give her more to stand on, and the perspective on the grass to left is kind of confusing for mind. Some of it also looks resized. The colors are nice, but it's a bit to bright in my eyes. The font type is ok, but it's way to big. " View

The test font you have used inside the wall is bad (i think), and i think it will look better if you place everything in the center to the left. The effect at the bottom of the wall i neat, but i think the "movie borders" is way to big. Make them half size and add the effects you have at the bottom to the top (make a new one, don't duplicate). Other than that is the main image is a little low quality and needs some small extra extraction. The "ghost" image it to bright/to much contrast. Fix this and PM me when updated." View
