After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
"I would, personally, alter the colors a little in the vector -- the original screenshot is a bit closer to L's actual skintone than the vector is. Like, the shadows under his eyes are greyer (rather than black -- greyness gives them a bit more dimension), his complexion is paler, etc.
That's really nitpicky of me to say, though: this is a great wallpaper, and I've faved it. Thank you for it. " View

"I use this regularly -- the mood, colors, and texture are all appealing!
I don't normally use paper this busy, with pretty much nowhere to park my icons, but this one is so cool that I make an exception." View

"This one is just so beautiful that I always make my desktop icons invisible when I'm using it. Stunning. It's not even my usual kind of thing (I go for more modern-ish stuff with a lot of free space in it), but I can't resist putting it up onscreen for a few days every so often. Love!" View

"It's clear that a lot of work went into this, and I really like the bg -- the words, colors, and Light and Ryuk.
The vector itself is well-done in technical terms (that is, the basics of line/curve/fill/shading), but there's one thing that I don't personally like about it, and that's that the colors seem way off to me. L almost looks like he has a tan, when he should be pasty, and the shirt is greyish, when it should be much lighter in tone. His fingernails are an odd shade... etc etc.
So, to me, if there's a problem with this paper, it's the vector colors. It's odd, because everything else about the vector seems all right to me." View

"I love this one, and I've used it -- it has a completely different mood than most DN wallpapers, and I appreciate that. It's L out of the context of the story. (It can be difficult to find good L walls if you don't like dark-colored wallpapers.)
However, although I like seeing your process here, and I would rate this paper highly... ultimately, I think I would have preferred that the character at the center be vectored. That he isn't is the major reason why I don't use this one more than I do. (It was included in some large wallpaper pack that I downloaded somewhere a while ago.)
It's still a great wall, though, and still faved... just... I would have liked him with more sharpness and detail, to go with the detail of all the other great elements you included." View

"Very nice, though I'm not 100% sure about that little spiny snail at the bottom. That's more of a composition issue than anything to do with the quality of the wall, though. " View

"Love this L art (er, see my screen name? Eru is L, of course).
I found this paper on MT a little while ago and used it until last week; I'll probably go back to it. I don't honestly love the fish, but it's just because fish kind of bother me in general... I find that I don't really notice it after a while. Everything about this paper is beautiful and calming, and while some people don't really like the glow around the head, it's one of the things that impresses me about the design overall. "Isolation" was a wonderful concept for this piece.
Honestly, even though this is in the Nao Tukiji section (which it probably should be, being fan art and all), it's one of the very best L-centric Death Note wallpapers out there.
There's a Yusuke Nakamura wall in dark blue with a diagonal rainbow across it -- if you get icons in the right shade of blue (I used the darkest blue folders from the Smoothicons pack, and, er, some weird dark blue computer icon from one of the Litho packs, and a circular skull button icon from Sticker Pack for my trash bin), you can switch between those two interchangeably!" "I found this on MT a little while ago, and it's actually my current desktop!
I like pretty much all of your stuff, though.
This looks great with the "Somatic Xtras" icon pack that you can get from... mm, I think it's IconFactory, but it might be PixelGirl -- I have a mushroom as My Computer, green leaves as my folders, and a red beetle as a special folder I use to organize things.
If i had one criticism about this, I would say that it looks like there's something corrupted in the colors in the top half of her red dress... but that's pretty minor, and I don't mind it on my own desktop.
