"Er, taking manga scans and using only them in a wallpaper, even if colors are added, doesn't make a good wallpaper o_O If you are really keen on it, you might try creating a 'photo album' or 'newspaper' effect for the wallpaper and make it accordingly. You might also want to check out the wallpapers in the gallery and try to grasp an idea of what makes a good wallpaper =)

The scan looks painted, while the BG is just random o_O Also, the color scheme is too similar, making the scan stand out less than it should. Maybe you can grab some watercolor brushes and paint your own background so that everything blends in better?

"I agree with what is said ^.^ Since most parts of the wallpaper are sharp, especially the floor, I think the clouds should look sharper too. Have a look at this tutorial - I think that type of cloud suit the wallpaper better >3 The rays of the moon don't look natural enough too, fix that up. I have nothing against the color of the sky though~
The shape of the mountains is fine - you just need to add more detail on them. Luigi's eyes will look better with more detail too. The laser ray looks a little weird, but I don't know how to fix that either. Some parts of the black spaceship thing in the air look too angular (especially on the left side) and I think the lights might have more white in them. It would be cool if you added a pattern on the soles of Luigi's shoe. And fix Luigi's blurriness too.
Other than that, the crowd looks fine to me, but if you want to reduce the blandness, you might apply some gradients and play around with lighting effects. Also, think of the crowd snapping pictures and add some camera flashes =)

"Interesting concept =) I think you need to work more on the brushes at his feet there, because they don't blend well enough. Besides, you might try placing the text at the center of the wallpaper, because everything else looks symmetrical and the text on the left kinda unbalances it all. It would be nice too if you could add more details on the sharingan eyes to place more emphasis on them, and add a shadow for Sasuke too.

Your abstract wallpapers look better than most of what I have seen >.< The colors you use are vibrant but soft at the same time, and the star brushes used really suits the background too~ And although there are a lot of stuff going on in the wallpaper, it doesn't look complicated or busy.
