The grass looks a bit boring though, if it was a bit longer it would fit the windy atmosphere a lot better. "The bg work that you did blows me away, but the lighting just ruins it for me. Since the character and the bg have two different lighting sources, they really don't blend well together, which the fact that your bg is painted stock and your character is vectored doesn't help either.
The lighting in the bg is coming from the upper right, from the clouds, and all of the buildings, windows, and bg reflect this. However, the lighting for the character seems to be coming from a strong light source in the upper left, 'outside' of the wall. Logically, it works, but for blend and overall aesthetic, it doesn't work too well. The clash of lighting makes the character pop out, and as a result it looks like she is 'above' the bg rather than 'in' it.
It really isn't something you could have fixed easily, as either you would have to create a new light source in the upper left, but that would mean changing the bg. Or, you could redraw the shadows on the character, but you might as well revector =\
Otherwise, the vectoring on the character is awesome, and I am at a loss of words for how detailed the bg is. Really, I cannot tell you how much the bg rocks. The sky is really something also xD If the sky looked like that any day, I'd lock myself in the basement. Superb background, it's just that I just don't agree with the lighting. " View

"I do think the flowers in the bg badly need to be vectored, especially compared to the crispness of the vectored girl and her flower next to it. The bg flowers are just a tad too grainy and blurry for my liking.
The characters are actually Chinese, if I do say so. But then again, my knowledge of kanji is pretty limited, and I do know that Chinese and kanji are deceptively similar, so don't take my word for it =P Your vector of the girl and her flower decoration is beautiful, but as I said the graininess of the bg leaves a bit to be desired for.
Overall, nice work. You definitely captured the style of Asian paint work and composition. Another good wall from you :) I really shouldn't be surprised, but you always do surprise me as you never stick with a wallpaper style and type." View

"Facial-focused wall are very, very hard to compose correctly. And it's even harder with vectors, since vectoring inherently deletes a lot of the details. So with close-up facial profile walls, it's a challenge to present something that's eye catching and design-oriented, as it's pretty much impossible to do a proper scenic wall in this way.
That aside, I think you did a very decent job meeting those challenges. Your vector style (especially how you vector hair) does add some vibrancy to the vector, and the texture is well managed. The tear running down his cheek is especially nice, so props to that as well :D Overall though, I can't help but feel that you ran a bit low on inspiration and creativity towards the end =X
*ahem* Looks like I got a bit too excited. Anyways, I see that you're definitely taking a departure from your normal manga-styled walling with this very pop-art interpretation. As a wall overall, its very solid. But to me, the lack of depth in the eyes, as well as the contrast between the clothing and the hair stand out a bit too much for me. This style is definitely eye-catching, though even in pop-art there's certain factors that play off each other, so you can't keep some things too simple.
Her clothing is detailed, with a nice floral design and even a fabric texture, but when compared to the solid, simply shaped hair it's a weird contrast for me. If the hair was more detailed with more bangs and flowing strands, then the solid black color would be justified. The eyes are vibrant, but they lack a certain depth that can be added. With a wall that is focused on the face, it's important to have some sort of depth in the eyes, especially in anime art.
The background is fairly simple, a bit too much I think some would argue. But otherwise, I think her drawing a heart with her fingers is a brilliant part of the wall, and her expression is very natural. I think one of the most important aspects of drawing manga-style characters is getting the character's expression to be natural and believable, and you've definitely mastered that ability :) Not to mention that for (i'm guessing) your first foray into pop-art walling, you did a pretty good job. You've got the color choices and the basic stylization down, and all you need to do is work on the details ^^
