This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Everything about this wall intrigues the viewer, from the ripples in the water to the distinct texture of the road. "I'm quite fond of the design work that you have here :) The background and all the effects gives off a lot of energy, which gives a very vibrant feel to the wall. You matched the energy given off by the characters very well, but there's a few things that could be fixed.
First off, the colors are too saturated. Tone down the contrast. You can use other methods of making a wall stand out other than turning up the contrast. Second, while most of the time overlaying textures over the characters is fine, in this case it just covers them up. Here, the texture over the characters is more distracting than helpful. Lower the opacity of the texture, or put the characters above the texture layer.
Otherwise, this wall is fairly solid. You did a nice job overall on the wall. It's just the things that seem minor that have a big affect on the wall. Keep up the good work :)

A few pointers: A lot of the wall seems to have been slightly blurred, but the buildings behind the ferris wheel haven't. So it looks kinds strange for everything in the foreground to be slightly blurred, and the buildings in the distance to be sharp, when it should be the other way around. Also, the lights on the bottom island seem to be randomly placed, since some of them are around the edges and one is randomly in the center of the grass o_o
But overall, this wall is really nice :) The sky is gorgeous, and the ferris wheel looks superb. There's a real sense of magic in this wall, and that's what makes it so good. You're getting used to the scenic aspects now, so now all that's left is for you to perfect the technical aspects of walling ^^ Nice work. " View
