As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. "I loved this from the moment I saw the thumbnail and the full-view didn't make me change my mind either :) My only gripe is that is looks a bit strange, as if stretched (in the widescreen version), but that's something minor. The vectoring is absolute love and the colors are beautiful - everything works in creating a creepy yet light atmosphere (don't know if something like that isn't a paradox, but it's the best way I can describe it XD)

Yeah, shape layers can be pretty annoying when you want to outline, but I find them easier to manipulate. It does look better though, with outline it has a too "regular" look ._.
I'll have to agree with that, I'm lucky Ritsuka covers up half of the fence! I still think it's wobbly and will fall to its death when I turn my back on it Darn you, fence!
