After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! The sky's hue is undeniably yellowish, it might help if you adjust the color of the foreground a bit.
Then there's also the bit about the background's sharpness. Try to improve the sharpness or get a sharper image. Another option would be adding a texture to the background to mask the blurriness of the image.
Speaking of texture, your foreground might benefit from some. As it is now, it's way too flat that it stands out too much.

Sure, the mac wallpaper alone may look beautiful but when you put the scan it seems off. They don't mix well; they go together. What comes to mind when I see this picture is that she's floating in space.
