"When I first glanced at this it made my heart stop for a moment. I felt like, "OMG he's looking right AT me!" Take into account the realistic quality and the fact that he's way sexy... wow!


It looks like you had some trouble with creating a feeling of "depth" ; some things seem very flat, while others seem very 3D-ish. The drawers are a good example of this. They seem very flat compared to the vase of flowers on top of it. Also, the hanging vines (or whatever they are) are so dark then seem more like a shadow. But maybe that's what you were going for? Execelent job on the boot, though. It feels like he's gunna kick me in the face!


Overall, very good job making things seem realistic. Work on your sense of depth and you will be making awesome walls (even more so than this one) in no time!

"Wow. Looking at what you started with, then what you created with it, it just leaves me speechless. The creativity of some people is just amazing, even more so in my view. (I'm artistically challenged...)

I like how the green is really brought out by the brown background, it really makes it seem more vivid and focuses the eye on that spot.
The butterfly is a nice touch, too. Props for vectoring or w/e you did to get the end result there.

Overall very nice work. Defiantly worthy of a SSS rating!"

Love the big moon, clouds and stars. The vines do a good job of framing the wall, too.

Only thing I didn't like was the way they disappeared into the water. I would've preferred the water to be agitated at the point of contact, or something similar, instead of them just fading out.

Still, it is a very good wall. Makes me want to read this series..."

Also, the kanji in the upper right hand corner doesn't seem to fit, but you say it's just there to fill space so kudos to you for coming up with something.

Also, the peach in the fruit bowel doesn't look overly realistic, but maybe that's what you were going for, so...
And it feels like there's too much white, or light, faded colors, or something...

Despite all that, I still love it! How could I not? IT'S FURUBA!
And besides, a sleeping kyo-cat is simply to die for!

Anyway, even before I knew who it was, I realized it was a good wall, nice composition.
Maybe a little too much negative space in the upper left corner, but that could be filled with icons so...
Oh, and I noticed a little <cough> with the outline on his right arm. (his right, our left)
