"As i state them before, you need to clean the scan.
clean that first before proceed to the bg as you wont get through with that grain scan

and for the "death" text,
if you dont want to remove them, just put them on the left
textwork like that never works on there, it just too stand out
...it's just my opinion, dont bother it if you want to keep them :D
