This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"I like the composition, although I thought it was a bunch of buildings during the thumbnail. I can see her legs are just amazingly straight. lol. Nice wallpaper."

"The design is pulled off correctly but the style is sort of halfway between being something on paper and something abstract. A lot has to do with the paper being fully visible. And I'm really sorry for nitpicking but the paper isn't perfectly flat on a surface. However the design suggests that it is, which is a little misleading. Perhaps some crumpling of the design would solve this dilemma? Anyways, good efforts, and sorry once again!"

"If you inverted the colors it would look like a TV add for an upcoming movie lol. Its functional, i mean theres only two things to focus on, and fewer is generally better. I like the slight asymmetry, however I'd like to see more than a gray background personally. However, good marks given to composition effort! "

"Lol i have to agree. Simplicity can make a bold statement, however this piece only screams out go buy more nike products. Try to bring more contrast into the puppet girl and less onto the slogan. Hope that helps!"

"Aside from image quality of the effects and obvious undertones its actually a simple example of how to compose a wall. However i do have one gripe with the text being on the top right, it should ideally be somewhere above the girl's flaming head. lol. "

Shades of Blue

"People are naturally drawn to faces, by cutting it out, it creates difficulty in where the eye should 'wander' in this piece. The lines drawn by the overall criss-cross pattern (space-ship thingie) attempts to bring attention to the center of focus (his shirt), but when the viewer looks, they won't find anything there. And although this can be pulled off in other artworks, there is far too much negative space surrounding him for this technique to be effective. Try filling the dead space around him with more elements of design such as patterns, tiles, or simple more detailed objects. I hope this helps!"

"I like the use of focus in this wallpaper in trying to bring attention onto the least detailed object. Personally, its an A for composition. "

"There is a little too much focus created by shading the top side of the roof and creating that extra corner. Other than that, i do like your concept. ^^"
