After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! "Wow, you colored that manga scan really nicely! The lighting is nice and the colors really make it look like they're underwater. The vectoring seems unsteady in some places, and I think that takes away from the sereneness of the wallpaper.
The water in the area where the sun is shining through doesn't quite look like water to me, but I'm not really sure how it's supposed to look, haha. Also, if that part is the surface of the water, the angle looks a bit strange to me. I just feel that the sun should be above their heads or not visible, because they look like they are in deep in the water and the sun part is the only part that looks like they're near the surface. I think there could be another layer over the wallpaper, because some parts are kind of blurry/smooth, and some parts seem like heavily textured. Also, her face is quite dirty; I can see the other side of the page she was scanned from! For a while now, I've been thinking that your wallpapers were lacking a little something, but I wasn't quite sure what. And I finally figured it out! I think your walls would look more interesting if you made some finishing touches like adding a duplicate, gaussian-blurred layer and then setting it to overlay or soft light. Also, adjusting the contrast and levels helps. I tried to do these things with your wall, but in my version, I think I blurred it too much and Neptune's hair changed colors XD I think doing those finishing touches brings more life to an image. However, if you don't like doing that, then it's your choice!

Since the majority of the coloring is in a painted style, the clean leaf brush doesn't suit the wallpaper. It also doesn't match because the wall seems to be a scenic wall. Since you have a tablet, I suggest sketching grass 8D Unless there was a special reason you used that brush 8D
I also think the outlines on the loli's skin should be darker so that she's more distinguishable from her dress. I find that having light outlines for the skin makes an image more flat, especially if there are other objects that have darker outlines (in this case, the plants).
Lastly, the blue parts in the wall seem too solid. The bird would would look better with more highlights. See, there are more levels of shading/highlighting on the leaves than on the bird, so it looks rather flat. The water (?) behind the loli should have some reflections on it too! Or is that the base of a tree? If so, then I think a warm shade should be used for a tree-cave-thingy XD

"This wallpaper really reminds me of this wallpaper, hehe. I like the vanishing into butterflies idea. But the butterflies are sharper than the characters, so it doesn't feel 'whole.' Were the characters shrunk from a larger vector and the butterflies weren't? I also think that having more colors would make this wall pop and be more interesting. The colors on Asuka is less contrasted than the other two, so she seems flat.

There's just a couple things that I would like to nitpick. On his two bangs that are sticking out to our right, there shouldn't be any shadows on them, because they're right in front and should be catching all the light. Also, I think his eyes are a bit extreme for such a soft scene. I would've preferred the eyelashes to be lighter, and the eyes to be less blurry (especially the top shine) and maybe not as detailed.

*dying* Also, I think that there should be a bit of purple in the background instead of the green, though the purple should be at the top and the yellow should be at the bottom because it's evening.
Lastly, I think the lines would blend more with the BG and your painting if they were dark brown instead of black. Still, great job on this!
