As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Also, the ends of many of the lines are blunt and I think they would have more life if they came to a point. Very interesting idea for the BG! I like the placement of Hibari and the colors too. The only thing that bothers is the smoke in front; I think it's too blurry and soft compared to the style of the rest of the wall. I think vectored smoke might work better. And the height of the smoke could be more random too!

I request a textureless version because the textures take away from the shiny cleanness BD And I think there shouldn't be such a big shine on her left cheek because the hair should be casting a shadow. Perhaps that shine would be better if it was thinner and along her lower jawline instead.

To make the scene look more realistic, I think the sky should be less bright and maybe a little lighter, and the green plants at the bottom should be yellower. The teal color on the plants made me think it was night time. But I think it's ok to use the teal for plants that are at the back because it helps to blend with the sky.
Also, I think the temple should be blurred a little like the trees, and the gray rooftops should be tinted the blue of the sky so it blends better and looks farther away. That should help to create a feeling of depth.
Lastly, I think there should be some smaller, blurred sakura petals behind Sakura. The petals look like they are only falling on the left side of her because they are all clear and crisp (in focus).

Anyway, awesome job on the wallpaper! The vectoring is so detailed and clean! The building is nicely done, though I think the angle may be a little off. I'm not sure ^^; And maybe if the lines on the building were thinner, it would look more like there's a distance between it and Lambo, though it looks pretty good as it is. Lol, I don't like to do buildings either. In fact, I don't like to do backgrounds in general

Anywho, interesting wallpaper! I like the buildings; they look so clean and smooth, haha. But I also think that that image of Hibari looks a bit weird >< I think coloring it in brought out the non-proportionate-ness that is not as noticeable in the manga, hehe.
The vectoring is well done, but I don't think it matches the background. I think it would look better if the shading and highlights were painted or were softer. For night, there's probably too many light spots on his clothes. Oh! I also think it would be cooler if the lighting was more dramatic, like coming only from one place so that it gets quite dark on one side of him. And lastly, I think his weapons are too white and look unfinished, especially if I look at the background. But your coloring of a manga scan is quite good!" View

I also like the colors, though I think the red is too strong for the elegance of the wall. The majority of the wall is green or yellowy, so I think that area of red is too sudden. Also, I think the lighter curly lines should have a lower opacity to better blend into the background, because their solidness clashes with the many textures. I was like, nooo I wanna see it up close! Well I can download it normally now after I cleared my cache XD Anywho, the vexel is wonderfully done! It's too bad that the original was so tilted; I feel that she's too suddenly cut at the bottom.
The background is also nicely done! The colors of the sky go nicely with the vexel. However, I think the clouds look too bumpy to be thin clouds. Or if they're cumulus clouds, I think the left side should be more filled in with white. Also, the trees look rather flat to me. I think there should be tiny globs of light on the leaves, even when they're out of focus.
