"Nice! The vector turned out great! *thumbs up* Hmm... Well, like everyone else is saying, you need a little more to the background. Maybe some more textures or something.

You'll find lots of textures at:
www.deviantart.com and www.sxc.hu/home
Just make sure you credit them if you use them.
Or instead, you could add some extra objects in the background such as hollows or something or other.

Or then again you can if you have the time, make a vectored background. >.< Maybe like a bit of the soul society place by itself or lurking with hollows at the back or maybe even just a gate or something... then again it might be a bit much work. ;)

If you still want that scroll look, I found these two in the gallery for you to look at for ideas. These turned out good by giving that dirty look and smudges to it. Grunge brushes do the trick for this.
