"To be honest I think that the new background color is a little too strong compared to the scan.
I downloaded the scan and I think it shouldn't be blurred the way it is on your wall? How did you treat the image? One thing you could do is darken the scan a little and improve the contrast. Are you using Photoshop? Because I just used Auto Levels (Image > Adjustments > Auto Levels) at the scan and the colors look much better ;)
You could try to add some pattern at the green part so it doesn't look so empty. But something soft, of course XD"

"I really don't think that the snowflakes you chose are good >.< They don't match the scan style =/ You should go with a more 2D style ;)
You also added too much of them. on the left side and the right side has none. You don't need to be afraid of adding stuff over the girl ^^' You just need to be careful not to overdo it.
You could play around a little with some other colors. You could use for example the colors from the logo ^^"

"I don't know, but the Gundam on the top left looks a little low quality >.<
One thing I can think of now is that you should try to change the colors of the top left Gundam and the spaceships on the back to a more blueish one ^^ They look too yellowish compared to the rest of the wall ;)
I also think that you overdid with the smart blur on the main Gundam ^^'"
