While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

But I'm not really into the background you made for them.. it doesn't fit somehow.
Maybe the colors? The blurriness? ~Ahh! I know now! Since the chara have a manga feeling, I think the background should also feel and look that way. Because somehow, I can't see the harmony between the two.
But that's just a suggestion. ;)
The sakura petals would definitely look better if they had not been blurred... *shucks* I bet it would look great if it were not.

But nonetheless, your re-cging skills never fail to keep the wall alive. The chara is very pretty. The grunge looks beauitful, and the blood looks really cool. :)
