This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
You need papers to download scans, yes. However, you don't have to BUY them necessarily. Check the faq for more details... basically, just be active on the website and you'll be fine.

"Ohh I like the new position for Hino, it works really well with the bg vector work. My big complaint though is that the quality of the image went down when you resized your wall to 1600. If you can cleanup Hino, make the bg vector the same clearness it was in the 1st version (but keep the red, it really works better than the green) and cleanup the text so it isn't blocky, this will be a great wall.

"A better extracted/quality version of Hino would greatly help this wall, the background is very nice but since Hino is in the lower right corner, it seems overpowering her as the subject. The quote is nice but I don't think the La cordo d oro or her name is needed, its too much text.
