While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

The extraction is not good and needs more work. You can see the white parts that left from the scan. I think the scan shouldn't look a little bit grainy like that. The other walls in the gallery looks clean and clear( but it's personal I guess^^") The lens flare effect is recognizable. If you want to make a sun, find a tutorial and try to make a real sun instead. You can go to www.dafont.com for a better font too

"I think you should vector half of his body also ^_^" becuz his face is too big, it takes a lot of space but it less detail and looks boring. The text doesn't fit pretty well. You can try to change the font and the colour. The bg is a basic filter and it will not work out fine in practical. Think of the character, make a bg that really relate and fit him the most.
And hey, I like how put the text ^_^, very creative. lol It's mayuri ah? I never see him like that ( thought it's urahara lolz) When did he appear like that in the manga O.o?

The character doesn't blend with the background. You should try to blend her with the bg better. I have seen many people use duplicate image of the character. Maybe you like it, but I think duplicate image rarely works out fine in practical ( I am not sure about this -_-" I always say that, in my opinion, duplicate image takes up space and looks boring ).
I don't know what to say about the bg. At the first glace, it may look okay. However, it is a punch of unrelated things put together (sunshine/thunder/ice/stars/nigh sky). What's the idea that you want to put in the bg? You have to think of the character, what really relate to her. Then try to transfer the idea into your wallpaper. In other words, everything in a wall must be unique. And when people can read the theme in your wall, it's your success.
