After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"I don't think it's a good idea to take someone else's artwork and use it as a background for a wallpaper you claim as yours. I mean, the background isn't yours. The scan isn't yours either. Basically, no part of the wallpaper is yours, so I don't think it's right to claim it as "your" wallpaper.
I could actually say the same thing about wallpapers that are simply extended scans, or scans that are cleaned and turned into wallpapers. These images aren't ours. Cleaning them, extending backgrounds, or adding other people's artwork (or even our artwork, for that matter) won't make it ours.
"Rei holding an umbrella would suggest that she's outside, but the view behind her is an outside environment, so that suggests she's inside. Hmm. Interesting. No seriously, it is. Or is the structure behind Rei a wall or a gate or a really narrow walkway?
Anyways. People have already mentioned the jaggy rain, so I'm guessing you already know about that. If Rei is outside, you could make droplets hit her umbrella. I see a slight glow around the umbrella, but I think a few splashing droplets would make it look better. Speaking of which, her umbrella looks grimy. I don't know if that's because of the compression or if you added an effect to the umbrella which somehow made the image a tad dirty, because the rest of the scan looks fine. It looks nice, even. I do see a "Yuji" signature on the scan, though, which tells me that it's someone's fan art. If you know who drew this, you might want to give him some credit. :)
And this may be just me (actually...yes, it IS just me because I prefer textless wallpapers), but I think it would look better without the text. You have a pretty picture that shows quite a lot of emotion, so you really don't need text to help you say anything else. Also, without the text, your wallpaper would be a lot more functional. Look at all that icon space!

I rather like it the way it is, although I don't think the stroke/glow around Sakura and the feathers are necessary, and I wish the vectoring on the clothes were a bit more detailed, especially the bottom portion but it's no big deal. I like the idea that she doesn't have a face. More dancing space for the imagination. ;) And HOORAY for textless versions.

As for the wallpaper itself, it could have been executed better. I don't know which part of the wallpaper you want to focus on. The elements (cards, photo, gun, flower) look rather "slapped on" there. Blend them using some lighting effects and textures, and fixing the shadows a bit. And fixing the edges so they won't be so jagged. Please don't get me wrong though, it's a great wallpaper.
I'm a has-been wallpaper artist, so you really don't have to take my comments seriously. XD haha.

For my own preference I'd like it without the text. And try smoothing out the jagged edges of the mecha's wings. I would use the blur tool or the smudge tool, but it's up to you, really. Everything else is good." View
