After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

i had a prelim mockup with a brighter bg: 1024x768
but i felt like the bg was fighting with the scan (the mockup is from before i grayscaled everything too) and decided to tone it down more

"Well, i definitely agree the color palettes did not quite sync.
i guess i got too drawn in by the fractal pattern i made to give the impression of circling birds
and i suppose that if i were ever to redo it i'd try to pay attention to the following:
1) creating a focal plane that is more coincidental between both the clipped image and the background
2) filling in the norhteast corner...it is a little barren
but to be honest, i'm still pleased with the outcome. i don't mind the fact that it has the rough areas that let your mind drift away from the focus...that can be a good thing" View
