You know, the scene with Kano unleashing that "magical burst" which created the "golden wheat-field" illusion was the one of the flashiest and dramatic moments in the entire AIR TV series. In fact, it was at that scene which I decided to continue watching AIR... it was moment that said "yep, this is (going to be) good stuff".
Kano is probably the least favorite of the 3 main girl characters, and probably the most underrepresented. She, however, is probably my favorite.
I like the way you combined the dark and haunting background (like representing her curse and problems) while using a scan that shows her cheerful side and emphasising her yellow ribbon that is tied around her wrist... (though maybe it is just a little too bright.. i would rather have the yellow shine through than "light"). You even put in the "golden wheat grass"!

The "white/bright streak" that goes down her right arm, which is our left side in terms of the image section, is too bright... the picture is sun-set dark... that brightness is not explained by any lightsource... obvious light source. See if you can tone down the white edges or turn up the colors and brightness of the background orange and stars/particles... or something else... see if you can address the issue I just pointed out." I really enjoyed the style of the last 2 wallpapers you've made. Not only does the color match up well- to each other and the character- but the tag-style circles and curls almost remind me of the "asian clouds"... as if they were cut out paper designs. The shapes and colors is like if a lava lamp exploded and the oil/wax just sprun out like if all the springs in a bed unwinded...
Anyhow, this is the most colorful-eye catching design after storm-and-fire's recent "i love killing" piece.

This is one of the most original piece of work I've ever seen. Your girls (and more Anna based on the description you provided) really did a wonderful job on the background. It is very detailed and colorful- it reminds me of paintings that would be asked to be painted on the walls around playgrounds in pre or elementry school... just more ... err dark? .. emo? ... whats the word? ... - anyway, the coloring of the art really makes it "ironic" as the art details themeselves, being a little "mean and dark" are not something I would see on the walls of playgrounds, though not the colorfulness of course. And I do indeed see that cellphone- looks like it is either hanging from her key-chain/necklace or clipped to her clothing, but part of the various decor she wears. Love to sun too... reminds me of the one from Mario 3 where he would swoop down and try to kill you ha haha. And is that a pikachu with a mustache!? Very creative, you even incorporated your signature as constalations in the background.
And of course: how did you know I liked cute anime girls holding or wearing or incorporated with machinery? Girls + mech parts = WIN WIN SUPER RAMEN COMBO! Ive never seen this anime though, so I am in lost territory over whether she does like killing people with chainsaws. Sure keeps the pervs away though.

"Probably the second wallpaper to immediately catch my eyes. I think the "grammar error" is kind of ... how should i put it... it adds a bit of "exotic-ness/foreigness" to the paper.. ahahaha
for japanese anime series, it kind of makes sense hahaha
"This wallpaper is one of the most (if not the most) unique and (excuse my "unmanly" word) beautiful wallpaper there is... not to mention it gives plenty of room for my CLUTTER OF ICONS without blocking the main image/images. Very well done; this series.. tv and movie.. is no doubt one of my favorites, even if romantic/tragic genres isnt what i usally watch" View
