As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

I like your vector lines + painted colors combo - it's very smooth and refreshing. The glass has a nice effect, but the background still feels plain (as if everything's in the foreground only).

I do wish there could've been something other than a gradient to cover the top - it feels a bit empty to me, and a gradient kinda throws off the bottom. But that's just being nitpicky.
I love the image :D. It's a lovely painting style, with very nice fine lines. And the perspective's awesome (feels like we're spying on him and he just caught us looking).

I've been trying to get into painting myself, but I don't have a great tablet (it makes jagged lines even when I curve the stroke), so I was wondering if there was a way around that.

But I was disappointed to hear that you didn't do the vectors yourself (though I can't really blame you) - it takes most of the work away and doesn't look as difficult anymore. The shadow is also a little disappointing because it covers most of the cards.
