While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
You need papers to download scans, yes. However, you don't have to BUY them necessarily. Check the faq for more details... basically, just be active on the website and you'll be fine.

I mean, the same background that I painted, and the idea of 2 silhouettes in black against it? If you dont know what pic im talking about ill show ya. Eternal Distance Wall Dont worry, i understand that the image I used originally came from another source as well as the same as you did, but still I cant get around the fact that its almost the same wall, just different characters and our characters are in diffrent placement. Stars are a natural Phenomena and the way the stars are displayed in this image look very man made (i.e Paint Bucket, Filter> Noise > Add Noise.) Personally i think that the noise feature in photoshop is great to make starfields, but you need to play around with depth and star intensity and etc. Also remember that you are on EARTH. and stars are not as visible on earth as they are out in space (even in the forest). Sorry for the lecture on stars LOL but seriously tho, overall i like it. I really appreciate the fact the landscape is not stock and is hand painted by you. And the Vectored character + ripples adds so much more crispness to it. " View

"Hey this wallpaper is really awesome. TO me an absolutely fantastic wallpaper is a wall that can actually capture the finesse of the anime and you really did in this one :) touche.
"Nice one man, successfuly brought that low detail manga pic to life. There are a few minor problems here and there with the lighting you added, depth issues and coloring. Like on the sword, or the fact that the red guys left arm and right arm are colored exactly the same color even though they are closer or farther away from the light source (sun). Also the PURE black pants of the bottom guy loses depth as well. I really like the composition and angle ALOT! and the background mixing with the vectors is simpily amazing. Seriously tho, i love clouds so much and the clouds are really good! Id just fix up some shading problems here and there(oh also, in the bottom left corner below some clouds it seems like there is a big purple blob that has sharp edges just floating there), a little quick fix could make this an SSS XD.

"Honestly, the cosmic bg is pretty cool looking (id suggest dimming some stars more tho, and adding more depth). As for the left side of the wall, its just honestly making the wall worse. I dont quite get what the left is supposed to be portraying really. The text does not work well, id suggest to take it out or finde a more subtle text and to place it somehwere else, a bit more romantic perhaps? ^-^ Also, the black rays of dark matter? I dont quite get why that is there, it seems kind of surreal, unless thats what you wanted to achieve. I like the overall concept, but there are just some things that are added to it that really bring it down. Sorry, I critisize peoples walls in detail when I really want their walls to be A+ S quality because it has the potential :)

"Hmm, my suggestion is definatly that the background is way too sharp to be the background. Especially since your character is very blurry and out of focus. Its very odd, because the focus is obviously the character because of placement so you look there, but then the blurriness is so un-easy that you look at the sides instead. I dont think that the elements are mixing well like that. Id just say to either, possibly get a more crisp image of the character or blurr the flowers and such.
