After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Ah, loneliness. It's when the sole inside us all becomes weak without contact with others. Don't worry, Masta (Kittylove) and I are there for you. But we can be there for you as much as we can. But that doesn't mean we'll vanish.
"I personally am a fan of white space, minimal but well-positioned design, and I feel this wallpaper achieves that. The subdued Asian watercolour painting style is artistically appealing (reminds me of Okami), set off by the bold black brushstrokes, difficult to do since out of a few strokes shape and shadow simultaneously emerge. While I applaud the meaningful placing of the nucleotide sequences, perhaps a different font would work better with the overall more artistic style of the wallpaper." View

"Interesting combination of straight edges in the HUD-type background (is there some technical term for this seemingly popular technique?), and the ethereal blue effect. As a standalone piece of art, it may not be strong enough - something asks for more definition. But as a wallpaper, it understands at least my interpretation of what makes a good wallpaper: it does not overpower the desktop icons, and once in operation, creates a balanced display.
"Rome was not built in a day... and neither, it seems, is good wallpaper. : ) Particularly the intuitive choice of a nighttime downtown scene, in the reflected neon light on the characters' faces. Keep up the drive.
