"I think you may have chosen the wrong scan to use for this theme, PenPen sticks out like a sore thumb in this wallpaper. The night sky and the moon has this dramatic look and then... there's a penguin.
The font you used looks too fancy and personally, I actually don't like Scriptina. Also, the placement of the text is strange. It's just THERE...
The swirly things in the sky looks strange, especially with the lens flare.
Also for this kind of layout, your missing middle ground. There's not enough depth.
But all in all, this is your first wallpaper so in that regard it looks pretty good. Your extraction techniques are pretty good. Just keep making more walls. ^^

"2 things bother me about this wallpaper. Firstly, I could have sworn I saw that image on another site as a protected CG. But it could be my mistake... I'm not sure... Secondly, I don't think the scan you chose matches well with the background and extra images. The character has a strong autumn look/feel/theme about her and placing her in that environment looks strange. Also, the original flowers look out of place.
