This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"Very nice BG the building is an apple store how sweet is that. The brush work is awesome and the vector is very nice. However my ssue with this one is the blending. It looks like a cut and paste of two styles (photo and vector) If you added some addition lighting to the character to make her look more like she belongs it would have been sweet as hell.
That BG is swseet though so its getting a fav despite my reservations on blending." View

"Brushes = blurry, I like the idea you've got but the brushes are blurry, and you have a lot of cleaning to do. As mentioned checkout Beckor's wall, its much cleaner and the composition is better. Frankly you need to work on the deign elements more. Eureka on the right looks good (aside from some cleaning) It would be interesting to go with the circuit idea and have the left image of her blend in as if she was a part of the circuit.
You have a great concept going but a lot of work left. Work on it and i'm sure it'll be great." View

"Very nice wall, the weather effects are very well done and even though it is freezing cold it somehow has a warmth to it because of the blue/violetish color shades/tints
"Overall a good wall. textures are good, text works well. Downsides, something is odd about the characters, maybe too much contrast or not a great extraction not sure?
"Personally I think the text would fit the composition if you placed it lower, or if you scalled it down a bit, as is its too close to the edges of rukia and the screen. Throwing in some petals would really help this wall out too. Also rukia looks a bit separate from the wall color wise, you could try to adjust the colors of her to better match that of the wall.

"Here are my thoughts, typography it looks like it was just thrown on to make a title, try blending it to fit in the wallpaper are possibly a different font to convey the idea of moonlight better. two, the characters extraction is good, however there are still some jagged edges that could be smoothed out , and you could also add some light effects or other blending methods to help the feel of the wall to be more consistent,(they are a little bright considering how dark the wall is) As far as the layout goes, you have a good sense of placement and composition.
Its a good start. Keep improving it and you should have a nice wall fr submission

"Pretty freakin cool. Though I would have like to see a little more detail on the left plane. That to me would have made it better but if you were going for a more painted look it looks awesome. I like the way you treated the character on the right, sounds like it took you awhile to figure this one out.
