After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Not sure what kind of mood you're trying to portray, but if I can give you some suggestions ..
I would colour the character lighter and in more saturated colours, and the room in darker less saturated colours. This would bring focus to your character much much more.
I would try a sunset sky with bring sunlight coming in, or something similar, to boost the 'dramatic' mood.
Lastly, I would suggest some sort of story to make the picture more lively. You know, something to add curiousity of your audience - what's going on? what's the character's like? what's the story of the wine glass? etc.
Some points to consider for your next work :)

I think this has huge potential and you're almost there on the right track - but this is not finished yet.
Lovely concept and great colour choices to set the mood right. So you've got great start there. The painting isn't bad either, I like the similarity with Makoto Shinkai's painting style, not sure if it was intended or not.
To me the biggest let down was the silhouette and the stars. I think the stars should be painted as well to keep everything looking consistent. And the silhouette needs a lot more detailing on the characters and the landscape. Or perhaps rearrange your stage so it's more sky-oriented, that the silhouette doesn't take so much space so the solid-fill black isn't as dominant as it is now. Love this scan and love what you've done to extend it. My only gripe is the floor lines, which is pretty hard to recreate using clone stamp unless you draw it yourself. And also perhaps less yellow would be good for the eyes.

Colours good, vectoring good and the text is nice touch, glad to see natural handwriting rather than using tacky fonts ..
Didn't find the circles being overly done, I think they're ok the way it is. I noticed the white puff thing near his nose which looks like he's snorting in anger or something, thought that was cool .. Wouldn't mind having it more noticeable by extending the puff trail longer and curl it up more so it stands out from the circles. If that's what you wanted to do.

Anyhows, I like the sketchy pencil strokes thingies, can't tell if they're from the original scan or something you did. The whites are indeed slightly bright but kinda complements the darker background nicely. Thought the colours work quite well in brown although it can perhaps use another 'feature' colour to make it less duotone.
Anyhows, congrats for making a bleach wall that's not:

I really liked your concept for this one, I thought the poses work quite well, who would have guessed these scans could work together this way. I also thought the integration between the characters and the environment was quite good, making the scene believable. Nice lighting too.
However, I don't quite like how Sanzo and Ni both face the same way, perhaps if Sanzo was facing the other way then it sorta 'trap' the audience's attention to the center of the wall more. Also not a fan of huge text, perhaps could be subtly integrated in the scene, maybe as a note stuck on the fridge or something.
