After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Now we can get on with the rest of the wallpaper.. Well, now that I get to full view it, I'm noticing that your scan is standing out waaaaaay too much from the background.. you have to try and blend it in a little. Creating a duplicate layer of Dante above the original and applying a gaussian blur of say, 2 pixels on the bottom layer is a good way to start off on the blending process.
Your text needs reworking because it's hard to see. I have no problems with the font, so you just need to work on getting it to be a little more visible, particularly at the places where the words intersect the branches in your background.
Your background looks like a stock photo which you applied a red colour on. Well, again, it's about blending character to background. I myself am not proficient with that, so I hope someone can actually give you a few pointers on that.
I hope my long post didn't really discourage your efforts in making a wall.. It's a sign that you're making progress and I'm sure your wall would be great after you iron out the little details. Everyone starts somewhere, and seeing you're new with Photoshop, take your time and enjoy yourself in the process.. Art direction is fun!

"The flowers bothers me a little, because it looks a little out of place when too much of a filter is added on to achieve a painted feel.. lowering the intensity of the filter might just do the trick.. basically i think that while you want to achieve the effect of having the flowers appear painted, it's a little too much which results in the flowers looking a bit out of place compared with a generally clean wallpaper. try to have it look a little sharper (cleaner) and i think you would have a AP worthy wallpaper. "I think that you should go without the blotches that you're using at the edges of the picture.. having the squares and the stars is good enough for the wall. also, you might want to think about darkening the earth more. using really dark red and bright red might work, so give that a go, because somehow that bright circle is too distracting to the viewers." "To me the sphere and your mirrored text seems a little out of place from the wall because it's a sudden grey in a sea of red. it doesn't seem to go well, so i might suggest you give them a little shade of red as well to complement the wall. besides, if you think about it, since there's a red light coming from behind the sphere, it's logical if you added a slightly darker shade of red on the sphere unless your sphere is a light source.. well, i'm blabbering away and my explanation might not be understandable, but it's just a suggestion from me.."
