wat happened to the rest of his clothing attire?? it looks like it gets chopped off near his waist.
would have liked a bit more texture/pattern in the water, but i'm guessing your going for the simple/plain and calming kinda effect?
the non-silouette trees dont really fit in... i think there's too must texture in them compared to the rest of the 2-D looking wall.

solid colours, easy-to-look-at layout, liking the texture and patterns... text doesnt take away the attention from haruhi and also suits the wall... liking the texture created by white mini...writing is it?? good use of colours for bg...really compliments haruhi's kimono...
yes yes...very nice
however, red patch of kimono under white scribbly pattern is slightly pixelated... otherwise a very clean, fresh and creative wall!!
i think you can confidently start a new wall ANY DAY!! "

the texture...the whole 'ancient' theme...its unbelievable... loving the outcome...you did a great job!

i'v always loved walls like this...simple, yet intricate and the flowers/lanterns... adoration to the max!

i think i'm gonna become a fan of you and Nao Tukiji from now on... the artwork is stunning...

only fault, though it blends in with the style anyway and i'm not sure if you intended it, i think you chopped a bit of the girls head off ^^ but its not major...

just something strange about the silouette of the palm on the left side... i'm thinking it should be darker than the ones in the horizon because they'r nearer to the source of light... thus the palm should be darker... it looks greyish to me... maybe its my failing sight... ^__^

you'r text, font, and style looks fab... looks very pro! i definitely like it!

is that water she's standing on? if it is... um... maybe the lighting could be a bit different... i'm not quite sure how... i'm not qualified enough to tell you much because i'm not a waller myself but if there was a bit more texture or something, the water can be more defined and she wouldnt seem to be walking on something solid... but i'm just saying this because i'm presuming it's water! if it isnt, forget the above, my bad ^^"

"Lol...not sure wat people are saying bout 'repeating grass patches'...i, for one, can't see anything!! maybe it's my failing eyesight?? but it aint that bad! so i think the grass looks fab! yes...the text does look a bit 'bland' for such an exquisite wall, but that's a plus in itself! at least it doesnt take away the attention from the main focus. only fault i see is probably your trademark butterfly...they'r looking a bit squashed...perhaps you could have chosen a different one for the 2nd, so as to not be repetitive? and i dont like the flowers...sorry...it's just...not detailed enough! kinda plain...perhaps more shadow and maybe some blending or waves underneath so that they dont look so 'pasted on'...
as usual, your lighting effects is FANTABULOUS! how do you do it? i'm in the making of my first wall...but, no doubt, its gonna bit crap...cant seem to get the lighting the way i want it...T_T

only faults => i think there should have been something near the bottom of the window seen...just looks a tad plain...you know, like silouettes of trees/shrubs...i dunno... and i agree with hickman500...boots do blend in a bit too much... i also think the windows could have had a bit more detail to them...just a bit ^^...other than that, love the wall!!

"Sometimes when people put cartoons onto photo backgrounds, usually the major fault would be the shadows. However, i think you did very well making the anime girl's shadow/shading fit in with the background photo. although i still think she is a bit bright for such a dreary city, but it may be the effect you were going after - i dont know ^^. Grey is a subtle colour... sometimes you need subtle walls to make your computer seem less ... i dunno... but subtle walls make my computer look calmer, gentler and, ultimately, i feel less stressed. ^_^

"I think this is a very cute drawing. it looks absolutely realistic apart from the fact that i don't think that the crayons have enough shadows beneath them. a bit more visible tone/variety would have been good. how come you didn't add the title onto the wall? was that not allowed for the challenge? i think the addition of the title could contribute to the wall. "The sepia look is indeed very nice compared to the many other overly coloured walls. i especially liked the way the stripe thing in the middle goes across the person bringing his true colour out, except i think i like the true colour of the person/character more than its see-through print... but it does give a good effect. the writing on the stripe thing is a little faint to me... maybe its my bad eye-sight... i dont understand the white lines going through the person's hair and shield... was it for effect? the flower and its petals look great! the red compared to the sepia really shines. simple but effective, great wall!"

"I like simplicity! the white and greeny-blue fit well together. the only few things i don't like is possibly your tree. looks kool but i think it needs more... 'tree' detail. and i don't like the butterflies OR the hearts because they look too 'copy and paste', if you know wat i mean. maybe more variety. i like the stars though because stars are meant to be perfect, so 'copy and paste' is alright. i supose the hearts are meant to be perfect too but i just don't think it looks right...somehow. otherwise, great job!"
