After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Extracting all the characters must have been difficult (considering that there were 8, no wait 7 to choose from, and three were smaller than the other four) but the results from your hard work is stunning, and deserving to be praised.
Though the character's work was good, the background wasn't as good; the background was a bit plain, and the cloud is kinda just in the way, it would have been better if you used another sort of background, the stars in the background were good though. |

That explains why this is a new style of text placement that I haven't seen before... I think that it is a very interesting style to use (text over character) as it makes the wallpaper looks different from the others.
The extraction of the character is very impressively done, the character is clean and doesn't have any pixelation, and I am impressed of your skill to make those butterfly wings and the flowers (though they weren't made for this wallpaper originally) they are very creatively done and fits the character very well
After looking at the original scan I can only say that this wallpaper could have been improved if you were able to include more parts of the characters; instead of cutting off tops off the hair and the legs you could have resized the character instead.

The reasons I like this wallpaper is because of the detail that has been put into the wallpaper. The background is very beautiful and detailed, it looked like there was a lot of though and work had been put into making it like that, the character Saber fitted into this wallpaper very well; it looked like it was made for her, because she just looked like she will blend into the background, and the shiny bit around Saber enhanced her looks (because she looks very beautiful here)
I have no complaints on this wallpaper, and the size is just perfect for my computer as well

"The overall outcome of this wallpaper is pretty good, I liked the background that you decided to use for the character, it fits Misuzu very well mainly because of the colour of her clothes
I also liked how you faded some of the colour and outlines of the tips of the hair because it makes it look like the atmosphere is actually with her and that made the wallpaper look very nice.
The only bad thing about this is that we can't have the wallpaper in a higher image size, it would have been better if ther was a version for 1280 x 1024
but oh well the wallpaper is very detailed and I hope it won't start pixelating when I put it up.

"I liked how you layed out the wallpaper, it's good to have the character at the centre of the wallpaper (Go Shana!) and the background you used for her suits her very well (since it's red) the overall detail of the background object and character is also very nicely done.
There are a few subjects of importance here as well; there is a little bit of pixelation in the background object and character, and the wallpaper looks like it has a lot of room to spare (meaning there is too much unused space)

It's a very nice background, and the fuzziness of the white flowers enhanced the glow the characters again, which was a very nice effect to use on this wallpaper
The feather foreground was also very good, though faint it enhanced the effects of the two character and gave a strong image to the theme of it
The extraction of the characters are also very nicely done, I noticed that you cut a little bit off the hair that you can't copy completely from the scan, but that was alright because the overall wallpaper was very nicely done and a little difference between the two did not matter

This is one wallpaper that really digs out the sexy side of a dark character from a dark anime, the extraction of the character has been done very well, the background and the photographs are also very nicely done, the only thing that wasn't done as well was the text in the background, we can barely read what is written there and where it was.
Was there also a knife in there? I can't really say it is very visible...
Some bad things about this wallpaper is that Rena covers too less of the available space, there is just like big unused space in the left side of the wallpaper and the right side (although smaller) It could improve with a bit more work on the positioning of the character

I like the background because it looks realistic, especially the colour of the forest and the ground looking different and it gives a strong sense of feeling for the blood in the foreground (btw, is this a person holding the camera view? if it is it is very nice idea)
The other feature that also stand out very well is (obviously) the blood in the foreground and the bloody handprint.
The character in this wallpaper didn't stand out too well, I think, because of her colour that is like being faded into the background colour, it makes her look like a part of the background more than that of a character in the background

I must say that I absolutely loved the background that you used for this wallpaper (although I forgot what that sort of image is called, but it's very nicely used in this wallpaper) the image just give the lot of meaning and touch into the atmosphere and background in this wallpaper.
The extraction and vetoring of the character is also very nicely done and I see you've also taken some flames from the original scan, which is a very good idea since flame sparks are not easy to draw by oneself, it also looks very nice with Shana too.
Some things I would suggest for improvement is the sparks, I think it would be nicer if there were more sparks so that it would cover the entire right side of the wallpaper which Shana occupies (I think it would look nice if there was more, don't you?)
And also, good job leaving some space in the left side for icons on the desktop

I liked everythig about this wallpaper very much, the extraction of the character is very nicely done, and the same goes for the vectoring as well (except it is a tiniest bit fuzzy)
The background of this wallpaper is also very nicely done, the details are very neat and very realistic (to the point towards animation, not realistic, lol)
I must say that the clothes that Shana is wearing now looks very good on her I must say (but hey, everybody should now that so what am I saying, lol)
Although this is one of the best wallpapers I've seen so far, I must say that there are still little bits to improve on, like the sparkles that is behind Shanas head, I think it would look better if it was removed, to make it more... I dunno... I personally think that the white dots are enough

"The thing about this wallpaper is that the most of the background in this wallpaper looks too realistic, although it is not really noticable in the curtains and the wall it still looks more like the real thing than a anime/manga image. The window looks alright as it is, but the tiles that surrounds the window is a bit unrealistic as well (since when making the windows, they tend to build the bricks into an arch shape and don't cut into the bricks[I'm being too realistic towards the detail aren't I])
The character's extraction and vectroing is a good job, so I don't think you need to do more work on it.
I think this wallpaper would turn out very nicely if you were able to try to make the background into a more anime/manga like image.

"The image and background looks fine as it is, the main problem lies with the butterflies in this wallpaper. It's like, they all look almost identical, just like if it had been cut and pasted on, and that is not really good effect. Also putting them in different size doesn't really solve the matter as they are identical, what I'd suggest is to find more different kinds of butterflies in different kind of forms (eg closing wing during flight, facing towards you in flight, wing flap downward during flight, etc)
Overall I think that is what you should be concerntrating on fixing in this wallpaper, I'd like to see the wallpaper after you work on it some more as well, too

I like the simplicity of this wallpaper, and I do agree that Mai Kawasumi didn't need all those extra effects. Very nice vectoring job done on her as well, and the exctraction is as good as it always had been
I also must say I love the idea of snow and sakura petals at the same time because of the calm atmosphere it gives to the wallpaper, and sakura always makes a character look more beautiful. (I reckon)
The text is a bit hard to see so I think it would be better if you put it in a more distinctive colour then the background

"This wallpaper is a bit empty, but the effects that you made out of the character (black space background with complete white character) looks very nice, the foreground object is also very nicely done.
The only bad thing about this wallpaper is its emptiness, because being just background and character with little foreground object the rest of the space looks just empty (being the fact that they are just only black) So what I'd suggest is that you could add some other objects such as the milky-way in the background, a few planets or even a supernova would look nice as well

"The items on this wallpaper foreground is very nicely done, and makes sense on the 'sweetness' in the wallpaper, the cake is the best in the entire foreground objects becasue it is drawin with lines, the background of the wallpaper looks very nice (the pattern, shape and colours are all very pretty) and the colours compliment the character and the foreground object very nicely too.
Best thing in this wallpaper is the character, the extraction job done in this is almost perfect, and the vectoring is pretty perfect as well.
The bad points of this wallpaper is as it makes sense that this wallpaper has a lot of sweetness in it's theme, but it can't really express the love in the wallpaper (there just isn't enough love-related items in this wallpaper to have it make sense) also the icons of sweets should also be drawn with line since the cake was in line as well
Those are the only things I think you should improve on in this wallpaper, but overall it is a very nice wallpaper

Also putting them in different size doesn't really solve the matter as they are identical, what I'd suggest is to find more different kinds of butterflies in different kind of forms (eg closing wing during flight, facing towards you in flight, wing flap downward during flight, etc)Overall I think that is what you should be concerntrating on fixing in this wallpaper, I'd like to see the wallpaper after you work on it some more as well, too

"Hmm!I like the simplicity of this wallpaper, and I do agree that Mai Kawasumi didn't need all those extra effects. Very nice vectoring job done on her as well, and the exctraction is as good as it always had been
I also must say I love the idea of snow and sakura petals at the same time because of the calm atmosphere it gives to the wallpaper, and sakura always makes a character look more beautiful. (I reckon)
The text is a bit hard to see so I think it would be better if you put it in a more distinctive colour then the background

"This wallpaper is a bit empty, but the effects that you made out of the character (black space background with complete white character) looks very nice, the foreground object is also very nicely done.The only bad thing about this wallpaper is its emptiness, because being just background and character with little foreground object the rest of the space looks just empty (being the fact that they are just only black) So what I'd suggest is that you could add some other objects such as the milky-way in the background, a few planets or even a supernova would look nice as well

"The items on this wallpaper foreground is very nicely done, and makes sense on the 'sweetness' in the wallpaper, the cake is the best in the entire foreground objects becasue it is drawin with lines, the background of the wallpaper looks very nice (the pattern, shape and colours are all very pretty) and the colours compliment the character and the foreground object very nicely too.Best thing in this wallpaper is the character, the extraction job done in this is almost perfect, and the vectoring is pretty perfect as well.
The bad points of this wallpaper is as it makes sense that this wallpaper has a lot of sweetness in it's theme, but it can't really express the love in the wallpaper (there just isn't enough love-related items in this wallpaper to have it make sense) also the icons of sweets should also be drawn with line since the cake was in line as well
Those are the only things I think you should improve on in this wallpaper, but overall it is a very nice wallpaper

"Whoa, this wallpaper looks very prettyBest thing I could say that is in this wallpaper is the background and foreground, the background of the two moons are very detailed, and teh flowers in the foreground is also very detailed, which looks absolutely beautiful with the moon and the character, nice vectroing job done on the character as well, character is very detailed and clean.
