"Well normally i have this "filter" on... Depending on whether this information is useful or not, i'll judge for myself and choose to accept it or not. After all parents are also human and humans are in no way close to perfect. I think it's important to see if your information would actually help your child before saying it. If you say something that make them angry/sad, the chances of them listening to you later on could decrease."

"Living forever should not be for humans. After all, humans are imperfect creatures. Living forever would be pretty damned boring for ANY human. Not to mention that after obtaining immortality, what are we gonna do? I can't think of anything really. After doing everything we can do, we'll find that life is seriously boring."

The only way that this is going to settle down is
1) They find the culprit (hopefully it will die down)
2) Someone capable rises up (This will probably not happen)
3) A lot of time passes...
