After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! What Makes A Good Video Game

"Good game should have great gameplay - it sums up controls, hud, levelling system for RPGs, camera (TOO many games have big problems with this aspect) and things that are genre specific. Story comes next to mind, it is a must for RPG, RTS and adventures, it wont hurt in other genres. I dont usually play games with crappy controls, long loading times, buggy as hell, horrible voice acting and so on, but when the story grabs me, i can and will overlook these... minor inconviences :). Graphics come to a distant third - I played great games on SNES, PS1, PS2 and PC and it didnt have anything with graphics. But it is good when it looks great :D, and plays great. When a developer has a clear idea what he wants from the game, it usually comes out as a good, sometimes god :), game.As for myself, I enjoyed playing RPGs like Chrono Trigger, FF, KotOR, Diablo I+II, TES i+IV, Planescape:Torment (really underrated game), Baldurs Gate I+II and others. From other genres I can mention RTS - Rise of Nations, Rise of Legends, AOE I+II, Warcraft 3, Red Alert I+II, Civilization IV, HoMaM - i and IV and some other :). I really enjoyed all of this games, they all have their good points.
And I disagree that only RTS is dying off slowly. The whole gaming industry is dying off. I personally think it is because of crapload of shit games from movies (yea, I hate them)... or maybe just from inability to do something creative..."
