This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

What separate anime from normal toons?

2 years 2 months ago

" The bottom line is that Anime is just better. In all aspects. It schools normal cartoons in any genre. Then again, normal cartoons don't have that many different genres. Plus the fact that now normal cartoonists are using anime techniques obviously proves that anime is better. For me, what makes the difference though, is the storyline. With any normal cartoon, you watch it, and you can feel as if your intelligence has gone down to a five year old's. With anime, there can be adult themes without being vulgar, and topics that really make you think about the world around you. Sometimes it's hard to believe that some of these shows are merely cartoons, you get so involved in the story. That's what makes anime great."

X-Men The Movie Fans

"Well, honestly, I'm not that much of a Marvel buff, so I can't exactly say that I know the story so well that it was inaccurate, but I really enjoyed the third one. I enjoyed all of them, but I really liked this one. I don't know, just something about Phenix and being the most powerful mutant was interesting. And even though it was cheezy, I was touched by the whole Wolverine kills his love to save her bit. Sure it could have been better with the true director, but to me, it was good enough. Personally, I hate movies with no solid conclusion, so there'd better be a 4, 5, and 6. However long it takes until there is an ending that satisfies my closure needs ;P

Granted, X3 was a bit predictable, but when you look at the broad spectrum of Hollywood crap, it wasn't the worst..."
