This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"I went to school once when my appendix was about to explode (well, it was actually during it... it was so delayed XD). My parents thought I was faking so I could get out of swim gym (which is where you swim 50 laps and then get out and run through the bush in your swimmers -_-). Usually I go to school if I have a head cold or something, but if it's something major when I'm vomiting, then no."View

"Huh? Firstly the eye in on the other side of her face. You know, the side we can't see XD Secondly, I checked the rules. It says absolutely nothing about replying to a topic without a wall. That's just stupid anyway. I don't see what's wrong with me replying to people's comments and explaining myself. It's not like it's spam anyway."View

"Well, it was a scan XD But then I traced over it and tried to make it 'cartoony' if that makes sense. I know the outline looks a little rough, but it was like that in the scan unfortunately. I just kept it that way because I thought it'd make it look more hand-drawn for the cartoon style. Hmm... I may add a tree on the left hand side behind Al now that you mention it... Anyway, thanks for the tips ;) "View

Single Gender or Co-Ed school system?
1 year 8 months ago
"Single gender schools are utter bull. There, I said it. I'm sorry if I offended anyone in the process of saying that, but it's just the way I feel. School is not just where you get an acedemic education. It's where you learn how to start your interactions with others in society in general. In a normal society, you do not split girls and guys up. Why on earth should you do it in a school? And for all those who think that being with the opposite sex during school can be a distraction, I ask how? People who are in 'all-boys/girls' schools still deal with the opposite sexes after school, at parties, etc. Saying 'a girlfriend/boyfriend' would be a distraction' goes down the toilet as soon as you consider the fact that if a person really wants to have companionship they're likely to find it on their own accord, with or without school. In class, wouldn't talking with the opposite sex be as disrupting as talking to the same sex? So then, I ask finally: What is the point of a single gender school? Personally I believe it has something to do with the parents. I think that single gender schools are there because the schools were established during traditions of the past and they still remain (think about it. In the 50s the idea of a teenager playing rock music was considered rebellious. Of course a lot of parents would have wanted their kids in single gender schools) and because some parents still want their kids to go to a single gender school. I may be generalising a great deal here, but in a lot of situations the parents end up choosing the school for the child. The comfort of knowing their daughter isn't getting knocked up may be reassuring to some people, I don't know... Some people might just send their child to the school because they think it is a good school, despite whether or not it is co-ed or single gender. However, if someone sends their child to a single gender school, purely because of that fact, I think that person is either too protective of their child, or extremely traditional in the way in which they think. Neither is a good thing."

Would you eat this?
1 year 8 months ago
"Heh. My friend actually ordered a Big Mac with two extra patties when we stopped in. I never thought they'd actually make it into a product though XD My other friend tried to order a bag of chips (one of the McDs take away paper bags), but decided against it when the girl told him it'd cost him about $50. I'd probably try the Mega Mac at least once, but I never go to McDs often anyways, so I doubt I'd be incorporating this into my regular diet. If there wasn't already enough flab on me... XD"View
what about your country?
1 year 8 months ago
"Ooh... Time to crush some evil Aussie stereotypes:1. We do not ride Kangaroos to school. Infact, we don't ride them period. We prefer cars. (Just in case anyone actually takes The Simpsons seriously >.>)
2. We don't fight crocodiles. No one (except showmen) would be that retarded.
3. We never say "G'day mate". Well, maybe never is an overstatement, but we would probably say it about as often as people in other countries.
4. We have snow. Seriously.
5. Australia is the oldest and driest inhabited continent on Earth."

What would you do if you had no internet for a month?
1 year 9 months ago
"I'd probably do a lot of stuff I've been meaning to do for a while. This is considering the computer isn't broken and it's just the internet. I'd probably do some writing (there's a lot of stories I have which remain unfinished). I'd also try to finish Hector Hard Mode in FE7 (that's something I've been wanting to do for a while now). I'd probably play my Xbox which currently gathering dust XD I might even go out and get a Wii that I'll be getting when I have the time and actually play it (while the Xbox gathers more dust XD). Studying. Although I hate it, I'd probably do it. That would include finishing some music compositions and working on some much needed maths. Along side that I'd probably actually practise the 3 instruments I play and might even learn some new music!Um... Yeah... Now you kinda have me wishing my internet would break so I could do all that. Well, maybe not the studying and maths >.>"

can school cancel the prom??
1 year 9 months ago
"Like everyone's said, they can cancel your prom. But it's a traditional part of school life which would have people in an uproar if it was canceled. At our school they didn't threaten to cancel it, they told people that if they didn't do their work or got on a 'level' (a discipline system our school has) they (as individuals) wouldn't receive and invitation. And some people didn't end up coming. I feel it's better to discipline those who cause trouble rather than make everyone suffer for the 'idiot's' mistakes."View
Who hates iPods?
1 year 9 months ago
"Well, I don't have an iPod, but basically all my friends do. One of my friends has a nano and the screen cracked a few months ago. It still works, but the screen is basically impossible to read. My other friend had a shuffle that accidentally went through the wash. She sent it to Apple, and they replaced it and gave her some covers for it as well. So yes, the iPod isn't all doom and gloom in my opinion, but like others have said, it's not the best out there and it's a tad expensive. My cousin convinced me to get an iRiver, and I like it because it has a microphone and FM tuner. Also, I'll have no problem with the battery life (which appears to be a problem for many with an iPod) because they're replaceable. One of my friends bagged out my mp3 player because she didn't like how it looks, and she has a shuffle. Now she's trying to sell it because she's been having battery problems (the battery lasting as long as it used to) and if she doesn't sell it soon the battery will be stuffed before it's sold.
So basically I don't mind iPods, but I don't think people should be so snobbish about them. If you get a different mp3 player that's fine too. People forget that getting an mp3 player is basically about listening to the music you love wherever you go, and since my mp3 does that I'm happy ;)"

Schools..
1 year 9 months ago
"Well, I go to the public school closest to me. Of course my parents chose my primary school (they picked it over one 5 minutes closer because there was a small amount of students at that one and the kindergarden teacher was a cow -_- I also found out how much of a cow she was when I did work experience for her *blesses parents*). I love the school I'm in at the moment. It also acheives higher than most of the private schools in my area, and the people are absolutely awesome ;) My parents basically let me choose which school I wanted to go to, and since I made it into the extension class (a class where you have to take an exam to get into it) I was happy going there ^_^"View

Baking

"I enjoy any sort of cooking. I'm alright at it, but I don't do it too often. I made muffins one time and they ended up being like the rock muffins out of Charlie's Angels XD I later realised it was because I forgot to use baking soda and I used regular flour instead of self raising. Silly me :P But I have made some mighty fine stuff... At school I've made cakes (lots of different kinds @_@), chocolate truffles (my all time faveView
Solid Plan in Life
1 year 9 months ago
"Well, after my last year of high school I would like to go to university and study environmental science/ geography and music. A lot of people have been questioning the 'money factor' in life decisions, and a lot of people tell me that there is no money in composing music. That's probably true, but the good thing about it is it's possible to do it on the side if you catch my drift ;) I'll probably end up with job in some scientific field, but music is still my passion, and I would hate myself for the rest of my life if I gave it up.Currently I teach music a little... It's good pay, let's just say that ;) I'd rather be making $20-$30 an hour as a music teacher now, and perhaps $40-$50 later (which is standard for someone more advanced) then the $7.50 or whatever my friends are making at KFC. So, something in music isn't always going to end you up in the poor house as people say. And I'm happy with it, because it still means I can do what I love and get paid for it :D"

"Well, I do like the font. I might play around with it a little and see if I can make an improvement on it. The green line which you talked about was the reminant of a mistake which I thought I'd removed (obviously not XD). You're right about the scarf too, it's a little sharp. I'll try fixing that ;) I personally see nothing wrong with the hair, but I'll look into that too. Er... And the leaves are supposed to look a little stencilly. Colouring them the same way as her will sort of take that away a little. I might do something to the lines, not sure yet.Anyway, thanks for your help ;)"
