"I guess you could try finding some other kind of brushes. Go to deviantart.com/resources/photoshop brushes for that.
For the vector you need a special program, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Corel... I suggest photoshop, though, it's the best for image editing and for this kind of wall.

About your wall, i think the scan is a problem.. the grainy stuff al around, they have to go. I think you should start everything from scratch with new brushing and new cleaning. As for the image, i have the scan, but in small sizes, so i suggest you should redownload it :-s..

"Umm. 10 minutes?? don't want to be mean or anything :-s, but i don't think you can make a nice wall in one hour, and there you go with 10 minutes? :(. Put some effort into it, cause this place is for people that do that.

So, let's start with the dots or squares or whatever they are. Umm... they're noot working. They're too rough for everything.
Secondly, the text is tooo tough also, try something smaller and a little more smooth.
Thirdly, the scan(s). Try to loose the ones from the back, and concentrate more on just one, one that you can improve with some cleaning, brushes and textures maybe.

Anyway,pleease try to put more effort on your work from now on, cause you'll get.. umm... bad treated :-ss.

p.s: i'm really not trying to be mean or anything, just giving you some piece of advice ^^"

"Why not trying to place him in the middle? I think it would be easier to fill the empty space, that's if you really want to keep the flames. Try some darker background, like black or blue. I think that Naruto should be more visible and that flames do need some work, cause they just seemed brushed there. I guess you could use some metal brushes or fractal one, to make more impact. As for the text, i think it would be better if it was horizontal and i agree with fragola89, that the japanese characters don't fit very well. Hmm, i'm thinking you could make those flames look like a spiral or something swirly :-?. Umm, i don't know ^^.

Anyway, if you want metal brushes, go to deviantart.com, it's a sure thing that you'll find some nice, good ones.

Don't give up, it could end up really nice :). "

"Nice work so far, if it's your first as you say it is :).

I just wanted to say that you should make the grass more..umm.. green? when you use the grass brush, change the foreground color And the background color with two different greens and you'll get some new effect.
It kinda botheres me that the scan is not really blending with the grass. What you could do is flatten the grass in the portions where their feet are, so it looks like there's some actual weight in there, or try to use the grass brush, but in smaller sizes.
You can mix brush sizes, brush colors to make the grass look more realistic and such.

for more brushes, go to deviantart.com, it's a great resource mine. when you're there, go to Browse-> Resources-> Adobe Photoshop Brushes and there you are. Look for the most popular ones from "all time" and i'm sure you'll find something useful. ^^

I think you shouldn't have that edge, maybe if you could do something as if it was burned or such. you could turn this into a really grungy wall. Also, you could work on that black bg, add some textures, or maybe, you could do something to look like a door or something. Um... just my thoughts on that >.>.

The second wall is also nice, but needs something extra. But, I suggest you to start a new topic for the new wall.

The wall gave me a serious headache, cause i had to brush it, scratch id, smudge it, etc... and that's also the process with the sidewalk, that i had to make from scratch.
Had a hard time making the right wings, but... oh, well..

So, i'm wondering if it's any good or if i've spent my entire yesterday in vain :-<.

And some kind of glow i think will suit them well. :-??. I think that if you would do your original background with stars and such, it will look really nice and smooth. also, there are a couple of places where the hair crosses the shoulders/neck/fingers and you can still see both the hair lines and the shoulder lines. i guess that may be the style...

I guess i'm just like that. I know i'm thin and all, but I'm not see through ^^. And, although i kinda eat a lot, i don't really get fat. Well, now i've started some sports and all, and maybe that's keeping me in shape right now. But, until now, I was never fat... and I like it that way.. :D

So, i guess, being thin suits me, cause I can't imagine a fat me O_o

"The scans are rather low quality. If you want them to be better, you should consider vectoring. That outter glow is not really that good and doesn't fit with the background. And the bg is also too simple and I don't really think it suits the wall. You should try making some more complex, and, maybe change the colors a bit.
I guess you could place the eva in the left side and leave Shinji in the right side.. or something like that. You could place some buildings in the back, using a stock photo.

Anyway, you could improve it a little. Good luck ^^.
