"Oh.. I think you need to re extract the hair... cause it has some trouble here and there. That bubble from the gun looks kinda out of place to me :-s. I think you should, also, add some blur or something to make the scan blend in more. But not just blurrr the scan.. adding some new layers, duplicating, playing with the opacity properties.

Look here, in session zero, in more threads to see more tips. good luck on it ^^

"Uu, nice vectoring ^^. I just wanted to say that i think you should add some color at the bottom and at the top of the picture, cause, sometimes, when you use the pen tool and draw a straight line.. it doesn't get that straight.

(The color doesn't seem to be on the same level if you look closely... at the bottom, in the right is red and when getting to the left.. it turns white... I hope you understand what i mean :-s)

But, hmm.. I guess that won't be so important if you add some effect on her on your wall.. just trying to be helpful :)"

"Umm... after spending a lot of time in front of this... not knowing what exactly to do next... I came up with this:



I smoothed the smoke a bit, even made it thinner at the end, made it somehow orange, added some little stuff around to make it look like an explosion, although I am not sure that effect is visible.
I lowerd the left flare a little and, yes, I agree, it looks better :). though... i don't know how much better.

So, how about this one?

blu3angl: I tried that combination you suggested... but it didn't look that good to me :-s.. so i changed the other one into something like this. Thanks for your comments anyway, really appreciate it ^^"

"Dammit. I tried over and over to do that flare effect, but I'm still not satistfied... I made things a lot darker as you can see, I erased that text and added just a simple one, so that people get the idea if the fight. I'm still figuring out what to do next with the silhouettes... if anybody has an idea, share it please. My eyes hurt.

I don't really know what to say. I just need some tips about how to make that flare thing, if this is not that good... or... what to do next.

It's too much blur on this wall, and whats all the fonts uder the big Font?
the glow really don't fit and pleace get ride of the whole filter you have used on the whole wall, filters just get used to the detail thing...
you have to make some detail on the main chara. victor, because it's really difficult to understand what it's there.. when i saw the wall first time, i just saw trees 0_0..

I think it would be really hard to vector their facial features, because the screenshot I used doesn't have that kind of detail.

I said I would make them less blurry and stuff. If that text doesn't match, any other opinions on that?

I think if would vector facial features, it would ruin the lighting effect created by the sunset and all. And the major point of the wall was that of black silhouettes... I mean.. that was my idea of the wallpaper

Anyway, I hope i'll post the new version soon, but I'm actually kinda busy since I have to go to school even on saturday... ( there was a school strike and we have to catch up with classes and stuff.. bleah.. )"

It's not so complex, all in all. But when I saw that battle scene, I really liked it and I thought it could make a nice wall.

"You should upload your image on imageshack and post here only a thumbnail, because it's hard to see the whole wall this way.

Anyway, we can't tell if it's the right resolution and such.

I think that greenish shadows of the font don't really fit the scan. Also, you need a signature.
