If you died by burning, it'd be so painful and it would feel like a long time just burning before you died. Also your body would look like a human scab. If you died of cold, firstly any urine in your bladder would freeze giving you a really bad experience of not being able to pee, but you would be so numb that you can't feel any pain because your nerves can't work. It would hurt a lot if you could feel it though

If I had to make the choice, I'd choose dying of cold because you'll become so numb that you wouldn’t feel any pain. It's still an unpleasant way of dying though.

"I think the Nintendo and the Wii is definitely in the race. We haven't seen the graphics capability of the Wii properly yet because of the cartoony style of characters Nintendo have. Nintendo is the most innovative company out of the three because it concentrates solely on computer games and consoles. Would you rather have a game with amazing graphics that handles poorly and is boring to play or a game with not so good graphics that is really fun to play?

If you take a stance from a marketing point of view, you can see the clear difference. Nintendo's market sector target is the best of the three. The Xbox and PS3 are mainly aimed at older players and teens so they are in direct competition with each other, whilst Nintendo also have the kids market, which you shouldn't underestimate. This brings a large amount of money in. A new way to play also gives games a different edge since it allows a different style of game to come into play.

Also, Nintendo's control system addresses the obesity situation. People aren't really burning off much calories sitting down pushing buttons. At least swinging your arms is more energy consuming. It could be part of a dietary programme in the future since it encourages some activity although this thought is a bit far-fetched."

Christmas!! XD

"I don't know why but I'm not that into it this year =S. Haven't really been caught up by the excitement. I think it's because it's becoming more of a chore to get presents and put up all the decorations. Also it's becoming too commercialised rather than celebrating Jesus and Christianity. I might get into it nearer Christmas, but I've got exams in January too.

I read an article in the newspaper about the Christmas spirit. It was about some socialogy experiment this journalist did. She did some charity collecting in the rich part of London and got very little (like £23). Then she went to the "rougher" areas of the city and this beggar on the street gave her a £10 note ($15-18). It was really surprising.

"My girlfriend thankfully doesn't object to animé since she likes watching it herself, but I don't think I'd go out with a girl who doesn't respect my hobbies like the others have said, otherwise they're just changing you to suit their taste which is horrible. Your girlfriend/boyfriend shouldn't be embarrassed by the things you enjoy (unless it's really disturbing)."

"Usually I drink bottled water or some sort of fruit juice. I keep a variety of snacks around my desk though. I've got either some sort of biscuits or cookies and sometimes have cake or a piece of fruit. Ocassionally I have crisps/chips (english/american) or a sandwich."

"If I had a superpower, I think I would choose the ability to manipulate light and sound. Then I'd be able to become "invisible" and create "hallucinations" which could help me get out of trouble and I guess create trouble. You could make yourself look like somebody else this way or vice versa and see what people really think of you. I'd also like the ability to teleport or something similar so that travelling long distances wouldn't be so troublesome. You could sleep later in the mornings before you go to school which lots of people want really."

"Here's my list:-

Bleach - The characters are great in this and the action is top notch. One thing that keeps us all mystified is the name of the anime.

xxxHolic - Everything about superstition, spirits and urban legends are in this. It's quite a dark anime but it's really interesting to watch. There's quite a lot of horror in it too which is different from any other anime i've watched.

Full Metal Alchemist - I think the story line is one of the best out and one of the most moving and complicated.

Full metal Panic (2nd season) - It's just so hilarious. Every episode makes you crack up."

Ever tried to learn to speak Japanese?

"I took a year-long course at my school, which took place weekly as an afternoon activity choice. I learnt how to read the kanji and japanese "alphabet" as well as basic speech. We also got to learn a bit about the culture there too, but I've forgotten most of the stuff I learnt ^^; We got a basic certificate of qualification since we did an exam after the whole year of study. I think you can get to learn quite a lot of vocabulary just by watching animé though.

My friend is doing a course now and he started writing essays in japanese. They learn at a really fast pace though. I think they learn 200 different words a week O_o."

Dog vs. Cat

"I like cats better because they seem more intelligent than dogs. Although dogs can learn new tricks and stuff, cats don't need to be taught how to not make a mess on the floor. I think I'm born in the year of the tiger in the chinese zodiac, so I guess I'm a natural cat-type person. Kittens look way cuter than puppies although some puppies are really cute too."

Most Annoying Thing In A Game

"When playing video games - I hate games that limit the number of saves you can make like in resident evil. Dodgy cameras are bad too.

When playing online games - people that call each other people "n00bs" are annoying. I don't even know why people use it as an insult. People who try to offend you if you don't help them are really irritating. Lag is also a problem.

The number one annoying thing is a pathetic ending scene or boss. If you play a long game and the last boss is too easy, or the cut-scene at the end is just short and pathetic, it spoils the satisfaction of completing the game."

"I spend 3-4 hours on the internet during weekdays, usually chatting on msn or getting my work off the internet (I get given work over the net to do for class). I spend longer on weekends, but it really depends if I go out or not. If I stay at home, it'll be 6-7 hours, but if I do something with friends or family, I might not even be on it. I have periods when I don't even go on though because of exams or being overloaded with other stuff."

"I don't think it affects my normal everyday behaviour, but I do muck about with my brother pretending to be characters from animés. I've tried running ninja style, and I think it makes you run faster XD. If I watch an anime that has got weird creatures in it or spiritual stuff I get freaked out though at night. I startle myself when I start seeing things or interpreting objects in the dark wrongly. I thought my shirt was a ghost once ^_^; I guess it is the power of imagination though. Life would be more interesting if stuff in animé was real though it would be more difficult."

Popularity is pointless. Everybody should focus more about the inside person, rather than the outside. Being with someone who is not popular should be okay and the "so-called popular people" should accpet people for who they all.

Humans have evolved into social beings. Being social is the trait that has got us this far. You say popularity is pointless. From the gist of your post, I think you mean it's more fake nowadays because people act to gain popularity. Popular people gain things by being popular. It makes you more attractive to the opposite sex in a closed environment like high school. People are also more likely to treat you better, so there's less social stress. People are also more likely to do you favours. If you were unpopular, you wouldn't gain any of these benefits. I'm talking about the extreme end though, where you are alone all the time.

I do think that being with the not so popular should be okay as well and that people should respect each other and accept them for the people they are. There can be exceptions when people just are annoying all the time. People who don't conform to at least some social norms are usually shunned from society."

"I use Xanga but I don't really blog much on it. You have to keep remembering to use it and if it isn't a habit, it's hard to remember. As someone said before, I think Myspace has a "who has the most friends" aura, but I keep an account to avoid getting constant e-mails of invitations to join the site from people. I personally use facebook more often because I've got most of my friends on there. I don't blog on it, but I use it as an alternative e-mail service for the e-mail addresses I don't have. Hosted blogs don't specialise in blogging, that's why it doesn't really work.

I read an article about Myspace. They said it's about building your circle of friends and the type of friends you have defines who you are. Your profile is a storefront for people to look into you. I think it's more of a thing that boosts egos and it is kind of a sad thing to do. It shows how modern society has evolved. People are becoming selfish and "attention-seeking whores" who want fame. It's probably all because of celebrity culture. "

I watched the first three eps and I didn't really enjoyed it. IT was nice but the plot did not get my attention

The story is quite slow at the start I think. You have to watch a few more episodes to get into the swing of things. I thought the build up was quite slow but the visuals are certainly unique. I liked the dark plot and the adult theme makes a change to other animés.

I think his skin is blue because of the spirit that possessed him. He has to take that medicine doesn't he?

"I guess the main thing is education on healthy lifestyle, like most people have said. Also, I reckon, if they haven't done so already in america is to ban advertising junk-food. This would prevent cheap gimmicks aimed at young children from reaching them on television. Getting rid of "pester-power" is essential because most parents can't fight it. They should try to teach kids how to cook because they're more likely to eat vegetables if they've cooked them themselves. Um, and I find that all those buffet restaurants in america are so damn cheap! how can you not grow fat when the food's good and the price is so low? But I think it must be the ingredients as someone has said. There's way too much additives and sugar especially in the food sold which make you grow fat. Whenever I go to an asian country which doesn't use weird chemicals because they don't have that technology, I can eat ten times more and not grow fat, so it must have something to do with the food ingredients."

"I'm malaysian too but live in a different country. Asian Culture is good is some aspects but bad in others. I've got lots of friends from different races all with their own cultures but its more the person rather than the culture that we associate with. When I'm with my asian friends, I feel more like in a group because I'm with people that look like me, but it has its disadvantages. Other races tend to avoid speaking to you even if you're speaking english. Also some asian friends can be a bit racist and not tolerate other races especially in relationships so it kinda adds a social pressure. Being asian has the same problems as any other race really. I only ever get racist remarks from white people though."

I've read cases of where this has happened.

Also, there's an experiment you can try out to half prove it. It's all down to psychology but if two people of the opposite sex gaze into each others eyes for at least five minutes straight they would be very attracted to each other but won't know why. Some couples under such an experiment married each other and are very happy. Ask yourself why people look away when you catch them looking at you or when you look away when a person you are looking at looks at you. A couple in a good relationship will maintain eye contact for about 40% of the time they are together. Tony Blair (England's prime minister) and Gordon Brown (Chancellor) did an advert for their party for the last elections where they kept eye-contact with each other to show emphasise the stable relationship between them for 80% of the advert. This imposed a message to onto people so that people were less worried about the difficulties between them. It won them another term.

So from this, it's possible to fall in love with someone if you both gaze into each others eyes for quite a long period of time. But since this can only be made to happen in extraordinary circumstances, it's highly improbable, but not impossible."

makes sense. though confining any type of fuel in high pressure areas make them explode in some ways. and the human body is very ideal since our inards are compressed in water. though that may seem contradicting because about 80+% of the body is water.

Since 80%+ of the body is water, it gives even more of a reason for combustion. Since water is essentially made up of hydrogen and oxygen which are both flammable gases and given that combustion has already started, it could fuel fire also. They say you shouldn't throw a bucket of water into a fire because it may cause the flames to rise higher and instead cover with a blanket or throw sand over it. I'm just basing my theory from that, but combined with everything else other people have said, it makes it comprehensible for human combustion to occur.

@pretty - if the animal is already dead, you wouldn't get methane because that is only produced in the process of digestion as a waste substance. Since the organism is dead, digestion can't take place, hence no methane.

"I really like sasuke. Its his laid back attitude and cool suave that sticks. It may be seen as arrogance but he's quite serious about being the best all the time. Naruto is his best friend because they experience the same hardships and they help each other develop and become stronger. He looks up to Naruto in a way and has his cocky attitude to help Naruto become stronger.

I can't believe nobody has pointed out this but in the fight they had before the fillers, Sasuke didn't kill Naruto even though he could have at the time. Ittachi told him that he needs that special sharingan to beat him, but sasuke didn't kill naruto because he didn't want to kill his best friend and went with Orichimaru as an alternative path. It's probably because you all missed this that you hate him for going with Orichimaru, but really Sasuke wants to save Naruto and get his revenge using a different way."
