Now my quick'n dirty pen reconstruct :




It was easier than i thought it would be after looking through my Evangelion pictures collection, Vectoring isn't the problem ... the BG is, but using some standard grunge brushes isn't very creative and has no relation with NGE at all ...

I'll try vectoring a part of the bright BG - only the EVA with it's Wings of light and make a dark black/gray/darkblue BG, at least that's what i intend to."

Action anime today

I can't say I really enjoy any purely action anime simply because the ones I've seen have no real plot. I guess I just like action mixed with something else.

A chain of continuous fights gets kind of boring and predictable...

Then you have to watch Eureka Seven ... includes Mecha bout doesn't revolve around them.



Currently airing action anime that i'm watching are :

"EoE is really cruel to all fans, you know, slaughtering away all the chars and so on ... but they wanted it, they wanted action because the original ending was very intellectual so they got what they deserved.

Sure - EoE is spectacular and i have the DVD but i woudn't say it's better than the original ending."

Gundam doesn't count cuz Seed and Seed Destiny both sucked really bad compared to the original series (yes, i wached em)

I love the deepness of the characters, the plot twists and short but intense fights ... i really don't need a fight in pretty much every single Ep.

Yes, it's really a great machine (4 * 7900 GT 256Mb !) but i do prefer amd processors. I also prefer buying all parts and mounting it myself (cheaper and better!).
Anyway, doesn't look bad at all.

It sure is a hella fast rig, but i woudn't ever buy such a comp for myself - selfmade rocks :)

PS : Those are 4* 7900GTX with 512MB each ;)"

I once used RAID0 when i had a Athlon XP but playing russian roulette with 2 bullets (a single drive is simple russian roulette) is a bit too risky with no backup - so i went bulletproof with RAID1 and RAID5."

At first i thought it just HAS to be a great series ... and it just the same lame fight of the Week concept ... i dropped around Ep. 16 and still had no real feeling for this series, i just didn't care bout it - and that doesn't hapen often.

I strongly disagree. Shoji Kawamori has always clearly stated that Aquarion is a PARODY of the typical mecha-shows. Taking Aquarion seriously is probably the biggest mistake a viewer could do.

Then i must have made that mistake, i didn't think bout that possibility at all ...

But then it failed as a parory too ;) After all i likes Dual!, Godannar and Gravion alot and those would be in the same boat IF aquarion is a Parody - somehow it doesn't "feel" intentionally clichee like *hmm*

Are the last 8 eps worth watching ?

"I'd say Evangelion doesn't count ... the Eva units aren't mashines, they are living organisms!That's why the movements are so fluid compared to Mechs ...


@ Gundam -
I've watched all the Original Series, OVAs and Movies in a few Weeks ... after that Wing and the SEED/DEST ...

I haven't been into Guindam at all till i've wached em but it was SO damn obvious that the SEED Sereis were so much worse than the originals :( But i think Wing was OK and pretty entertaining ...
