Moving Out

"Yeah. I hate my Dad's guts. I have a two page essay written up somewhere on my Facebook, all about why I hate him so, and my mom is as useless as a rock because of my Dad. He has sent her on a spiraling depression. I don't get paid enough to support myself and them and I hate how he spends my money to support him on alcohol. So I really want to move out. The problem is I can't last two weeks without spend 200-300$ on food or trinkets or bills. I'm trying to save up to 1,000$ so I can move out into my own apartment and get some nice furniture, but it's extremely difficult with my pay... well it's actually not that difficult, but I'd like to move out by this August, with 2,000 but that's not gonna happen. Sigh..."

"I dunno why. I used to yearn to find other people who liked anime and chat with them about it. I only found 3 people that went on about it forever with me. Then when I turned 19, I started to get sick of anime. I hated talking about anime, I hated to watch anime, even if I like the series before, and I started hating everything that was too stereotyped like people using Japanese with English or animes that are too cliched... It just made me sick. And ironically, in College, a lot of people isn't ashamed of anime, and actually do cosplay. It's unfortunate my interest in anime has diminished greatly... I still watch One Piece, and that's like it. I don't care about anything else."

Which Career Path would you Follow?

"Once you work at a busy movie theater, all you can think about is getting a better job or getting promoted. You're either stuck dealing with the crap that no one else deals with, or you're getting paid more to deal with less customer related work, such as starting the movies, doing print work, counting cash, counting inventory, making the employee schedule or just standing there smiling. Yup. It's been almost 2 years and I'm still stuck in a movie theater, but at least I'm a Projectionist now so I'm on my way up. ...I hope. It's not a job I love, but it's a job that'll pay off soon I hope.

But being on the actual topic, I think I would prefer a job that pays more, because I'm actually very needy. I was born in a family that depended on money that came for my mom being burned in a plane crash. It makes me angry that my Dad doesn't do a thing to help, just eat his fat butt out and clean the house, and then whine that no one helps him. So I really could use a job that paid me a lot instead of a job that I wanted to pursue. But in the end, after everything is in my sight, I'll pursue the job I've always wanted. ...I haven't figured that out yet, which is the problem. I seem to have a passion for making movies and animating (but I hate drawing though) and video games. I might become a video game designing. Until that day, I'm stuck with a job I hate and doesn't pay enough. Then I'll be stuck with a job I hate that does pay enough."

"Well... it's you versus a whole bunch of monsters. Arm yourself with the strongest and longest lasting weapon with good distance and know the streets. Really long and light knives are good to cut of heads and you don't need to worry about ammo. Just your distance... Since guns are illegal and ammo is scarce, the option of that is pretty screwed. Metal baseballs are good, but heavy... I would customize my hockey stick into like a scythe-like object. Light weapon with good distance. Use something or someone as bait to get into the car and run the hell out of them and save the person used as bait and drive outta there if you can. Underground isn't safe, the bloody things are everywhere! Can't wait till Diary of the Dead comes out."

"The more Brawl is prolonged the more news they release and the more better the game looks. It really does seem like this is going to be one Triple A game next year. I'm pumped and can't wait for this to come out, Melee was awesome and better than the first and this one is going to be even better than Melee. They just want to make it bigger and better. And that's good, I haven't many good games for the Wii lately and I've bought a couple and they aren't really that good. Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, and maybe Nights Journey of Dreams should do really well this seaosn."

"The weirdest dream I ever had was this wounded guy barging into my house. His neck was slit, and his chest was stabbed and he was bleeding all over the place, begging for help. I helped him of course and while he was being taken to the hospital, he told me that he was HIV positive, so I freaked out taking a shower and spraying myself with Anti-Bacteria, spraying the entire house, cleaning it for 3 rounds because I didn't want the slightest chance for an HIV infection. Man that was scary."

"To me, game music means a lot. If the music doesn't buy me in, I can't enjoy the game. It's been that way for so long, it the game doesn't have that many notable themes, I probably won't get into it and find the game very boring. Weird but I've noticed that's how things work with me. I listen to more game music than actual songs from artists and bands."

Wii, Xbox 360 or PS3 ?

"So far I got the Wii. I plan to get the X360 and PS3 soon too. Banjo 360 and Resident Evil 5, kickass! The Wii's a decent system it's not the best though. The only decent games I have bought or seen for it would probably be Zelda, Wario Ware, Metroid Prime 3, Dewy's Adventure, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and Super Mario Galaxy. Other than none of the other games are really worth the 50 bucks. Nintendo's not making a lot good games nowadays... to me anyway, I'm sure the younger generation loves them."

Swords or Guns?

"Guns are good if you have no physical strength for close combat but exceptional aiming. That's me and for every shooter game I've played... I've been a lot better at shooting than using swords. In real life it's pretty much the same for me, except I don't use guns, I chuck things at people... it's a lot more fun too since they can't dodge, hahaha."

"I thought sushi was gross at first. Then I figured, why not, it's gotta be popular for some reason. I found it... delicious. Nutritious and good for your diet... however! I also found it to be very expensive! Makes sense I guess... seafood don't come cheap...

There was one restaurant that made it taste nasty though. This one restaurant in Quincy that had Chinese people working trying to pass themselves off as Japanese. But I'm chinese so I could understand what they were saying... and the sushi was nasty. 5 bucks for 2-3 pieces... rice wasn't as soft and sweet as it should be, and the seafood tasted too dry and hard... yeah, that's one place I won't be getting my sushi from. Ever."

So you should always try to be yourself if you're trying to impress a girl. If she doesn't like you for who you are, screw her, or she may end up destroying your life and giving you humiliation you could've avoided.

On the other hand... if you're a smoker or a criminal and she wants you to change your ways... that's a good thing. And you should definitely change."

Jobs - My Next Move

"I've worked at two jobs now. One was at Knowfat and one was at the Regal Fenway 13 movie theater. I made the huge mistake of losing these jobs and now I wonder what next move should be if I ever hope to get another job.

Knowfat: My friend got into a fight with this guy and he told them I wasn't going to be able to work today, so he dragged me into not showing up. I thought it was cool since he talked them out of it, but I didn't call out so they wrote that one down... I had planned to go to my next shift but since I was sleeping over his place, I had let him influence me into not showing up for the next shift... but I wanted to go, except we ended up 4 hours late and they had me fired for a no call no show.

Regal Movies: I wanted to change my availibility because I do not like working 9 hours a day. But I wasn't able to so I was scheduled 230PM-11PM, I felt anxious and I also didn't want to see some of the employees there either. I was getting an interview from Subway too, but I wasn't sure if I could get in. He says I had a good chance, and so I gambled and decided not show up. Mind you, if he didn't call me to hang out, or rather if I didn't decide to hang out with him, I would have gone to work. And Saturday, I did not feel like recieving the lashing of words from my managers so I could not bare to show my face there, even though I wanted to... two days, no call no show, I'm pretty sure I've got the job abandonment record for that place now. I've worked for six months.

So that means both jobs have bad records now, because I was influnced by my friend to not show up. Because I'm naive and did not think this carefully... and now my future jobs may be at stake...

So my friends... I ask for one advice. Should I put these jobs down on my next application or not? I really want to get a new job, but writing down I've never been employed might jepordize me... but putting any one of these down will also hurt my chances too. What should I do?"
