This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

You need papers to download scans, yes. However, you don't have to BUY them necessarily. Check the faq for more details... basically, just be active on the website and you'll be fine.

Yay, finally finished it tonight. I've been working on this now and then for the last two years. It's not that it took long, it's just that most times I didn't feel like working on it or were out of ideas. A LOT of layers and loads of filters used. Hope you like it, I sure do (first of my own drawings that didn't look like crap).

"In my opinion this wall should be either sharp or blurred, not both. The motion blur (if that is what it is) around the character should go as well. Maybe you wanted to make it look like his hand is moving, but it just doesn't look good. But still...I like the style of this wall a lot. The lighting is very well done and although I havn't seen anything on Karas, this wall almost makes me want to look it up."

"You did a nice job on the vector. I would suggest that you add something behind the fence like perhaps a house far back. Try experimenting with it. I do not like the sign also, it has to go. The text would look better whitout it. The wallpaper is a bit plain right now but it's a good idea and it can turn into something real nice if you keep working on it :)"

"The turquoise has to go and the outline of the mark needs some work. I like the concept a lot though. Maybe you should try out some textures on the sharingan-like symbol in the background since it looks a bit plain otherwise. Keep working on it and it might turn out quite well :)"

"Hi everyone. Some of you might know me from before. I was active on Minitokyo and Animelayer for about a year ago (my username is Kane on those sites). Then I got this artist-block that I've only just recovered from. I've designed some wallpapers since I started liking design some four or five years ago and I often make dark-themed wallpapers. I'll be posting the best of my older walls and also the new ones as I've taken up walling again. I'm not really one for introductions so I'll leave it at that."
