"Well I can only way that this wallpaper is to plaine and you just did it super fast.

So i suggest to you~ to remake the whole layout ..Aka..Background to make it look more dramatic or probly just take your image and fix it on a nice background and blend it properly.

"I think all the composite and idea are awsome but the image looks really poor to me and the backgrounde seems ... well ... Ugly but the flower is nice, but i don't think using filter would make it look better it just ruin the nice piture.

if not then just fix the bg and the imae by using stroke about 2px and blur it to make better and cleaner
