Reasons for being Alone, Recluse, Hermit, or Solitary

"I spend most of my time alone, and I am moderately happy that way. People often see me as weird, they also seem to get the opinion that I am conceited, and think that I think I’m better than everyone else. And I certainly don’t enjoy this opinion being had of me.

I do not think I’m better that everyone else. I am better in some areas that others, as are others better than me in other areas. I do feel however that my ideals differ from those expressed by the rest of the general public, and so I keep to myself from this principle. When I told this to someone he then said I was just saying I was better than everyone with fancy words. Due to the fact he did not understand the use of the word ideals, I then rephrased it to be sense of justice, which he took to be right and wrong (which is a decent understanding of it I suppose...). He then went on to how I was highly wrong (...which I suppose is to be expected because he is Christian...). He then said: "If your sense of right from wrong was perfect (which you say it is) then how come you aren’t known nationally for being a political leader of some sort yet?" Aside from not being old enough to be a political leader, I never said my ideals were perfect. In my opinion this person is quite closed minded, so I will now share my thoughts with the world...

I may be the only one in this kind of life (although I find that slightly hard to believe...). For those in like situations: What are some of your reasons for your seclusion. Or for those normal people: What do you think of me/us?

"I watch anime, as anime is to live... In life, the main pourpose is to live. Liveing being to gain experiences and go though various trials and sceinarios. However just by going though life there is only so much liveing you can go though. So by watching anime you can expose yourself to much more than you could otherwise. As for every different anime there are differect charactors, settings, places, ideals, beilefs, methodeoligys, and so one. So by watching 100s of different animes, you can live life 100s times more than everyone else... *crazy*"

"Im a collector, I download everything and never deleat them. After filling up my 3 hard drives with 450+ GB of anime, I have gotten my new 500GB drive in the last week. So I will soon have 1TB of downloaded anime :)

"I much prefure to watch anime on the computer, the dubs on TV make me want to be dead so I dont have to hear them anymore, and watching from the computer is much easyer and more comfertable."

"I collect anime stuff. Its not realy any spesific items, but if I seen anime stuff I get them, and put them with the rest of my collection (which is basicly the wall covering of my roon)."

"Many times I will take random personality test... Becase I like answering quesions for some reason. Other times Ill try to play a game of some sort but end up even more board then I move on to doing some other boaring thing untill I just end up dieing of boardom (kind of like right now...)"

Taking the bus to school

"I do! I didnt till high school becase till then the buses never came to my house. They do now though. I stand outs side waiting for it for 10-15 min. each morning though.... I spend about 35min riding the bus each way to and from school. That time is normaly spen staring out the window, or .... sleeping...."
