After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"RedZeshin, what I've found if I don't have the patience or time to play through a game is to go on youtube and see what they have for walkthroughs. I've found that these are a great way to get caught up in the story, but also you don't have to play any of the game either. Of course, I only did this because I wanted to get caught up in Splinter Cell and didn't want to waste the time hunting down the first three titles and beating them."View

"RedZenshin, while I'm not trying to be rude I question why you even play RPGs to began with. RPGs are, being they always have been, longer than standard games. Truth be told, RPGs are getting longer in length as the years have progressed as well, and it's a good thing too. It's about offering a grand story and grinding, their suppose to be a timely involvement. It would defeat the point of re-making the game if they were to not make it like an RPG. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but the whole point of an RPG is to offer an experience that is well beyond 8 hours of gameplay. Also, while you do state that these great games you had a tough time getting into, it most likely would have to do with the games you played prior. Due to my age, I was able to play these games as they came out and personally speaking, I feel that A Link to the Past is still the best Zelda game out there. While you enjoy the N64's Ocarina of Time, I actually hated both N64 Zelda games. While they may of been greats, they were greats for their time and in some standards aren't going to hold up that well in comparison. Obviously, differences in opinion come into play and there is no right and wrong when it comes to that. If you had a difficult time getting into FF7, it probably just wasn't the game for you. I was like that with Cross Edge, I put six hours into that title and I still thought it was crap."

Is anime a lonely hobby?
3 months 2 weeks ago
"That's exactly what it was like for me in high school. It was especially bad because DBZ was just gaining popularity on Toonami and that seemed to be the biggest thing for anyone to insult someone over. It was also hilarious watching those who made fun of you for it trying to grasp the concept of it. At least for those who weren't smart enough to understand the basis of it aside from the mindless fighting and powering up. Even despite the fact that anime had been in the United States for sometime, it still had yet to make a strong mark, even in the late 90s-early 00s.
Is it a lonely hobby? Well, if you have friends to share it with then no. A lonely hobby is something you share by yourself. You and only you. I find that with anime, it's far from it. Generally, I watch with a group of friends and poke holes in the series all the while having a great time. If I don't do that, I watch anime with my girlfriend. I find that, honestly, out of all my hobbies, anime is the one where I am the most active with other individuals. That's not saying that I don't sometimes prefer to watch it by myself and just take everything in without making fun of it. I generally game by myself and when I use to drum, it was usually just practicing. I think it also helped out that I attended our University anime club, well, whenever I could.
Have you tried introducing your friends to it? Anime is basically what television is, it's about finding something that you enjoy. Especially since there are so many great shows out there now, it's really easy to find something for everyone. Of course, that's if their interested in taking the plunge."

About the add on Animepaper
3 months 2 weeks ago
"Qaara, while I think everyone here appreciates your enthusiasm towards fighting the good fight, you have to realize one little detail. This is the internet.
You also have to keep in mind that these ads help out AnimePaper and no one here has said anything about endorsing them. Just because some websites have pornography ads doesn't mean that they promote it.
While I'm pretty sure everyone can agree that you are just simply pointing something out in order to help out the website, which I'm not trying to put you down for. I just think that your taking a simple ad that is randomly generated to a whole new level.
I apologize if my comment is out of place or uncalled for.
Also, for an additional comment, I can't personally say I've ever seen an ad here for Manga Fox before. On other sites, yes, but not on AP."

Should squaresoft make a remake of final fantasy 7 for the ps3
3 months 3 weeks ago
"Honestly, I don't know why people want remakes.I mean, I understand the concept of, "I wonder what (insert game/movie here) would be like if it was remade with the technology today". Sure, I've thought about a lot of games and what they would look like remade, especially this game called Shogo : Mobile Armored Division. However, there is a big piece of information we need to keep in mind. No game or movie, remade, is going to be exactly like it's original counterpart.
It's a fact of life. Even if by the chance that the original staff were to work on the project, it'd still be different. Why? Because as we grow older, how we think and feel changes. This can greatly affect the outcome of a certain project. You say you want to see Final Fantasy 7 updated and while I do agree it does peak my curiosity, I don't think it'd go over as well as so many people think.
It's also a fact that setting high expectations and building up a image of what something would be like in our heads can make the final product very disappointing. As previously stated, if said game was remade, it'll be a lot different than what we imagine. Odds are it's going to offend someone or else greatly upset a different selection of the FF7 fanbase. This, along with many other reasons that were stated as well in previous posts, is why I completely agree that remaking FF7 would be a horrible idea.
As Deerstalker said, I think only remakes should apply in areas that need them. Resident Evil made sense because the vision was far too grand for the original to fulfill and the remake was able to provide what the original vision had. Final Fantasy 7 was complete in itself. Yes, it had blocky characters, but even then it was very high end for it's time and truthfully provided a great gaming experience. Especially since it's on the PSN network for USA, I see no reason as to not just download it for ten dollars.
Also, not to seem as if I'm attacking you Scrooge, but just because the game is greatly popular doesn't mean we need a bunch of remakes. I think it was smart of SquareEnix to re-release Chrono Trigger due to the fact that the SNES version is horribly rare and expensive and for those purist who hated the load times with the PS1 version to experience it in a more original format. Just because a game has an insane popularity doesn't mean it should be remade. If you want to get technical, it's why FF7 is now on the PSN. It's because of how popular it was that they decided to put it up there. Truth be told, I'm glad that so many companies don't go in and remake games. It'd be a cheap way to make money on a game I've already played and if it doesn't need it, why do it?"

New L4D 2

"I would love to hear your idea for Dreamfall. Personally, it always intrigued me on how someone could make a Adventure game into a multiplayer experience while being able to retain the great elements of the single player game.
As for L4D2, I do agree with you as well. Despite the fact that the game is built from the ground up for mostly multiplayer, it doesn't mean that they won't have single-player. I'm really hoping that they'll make improvements from their previous effort so that it'll be a much more rewarding single player."

New L4D 2
3 months 4 weeks ago
"I personally think it's a money ploy because of the pathetic amount of content the first L4D offered. Truth be told, I'm actually disappointed on anything that is solely multi-player that doesn't offer much content. Hell, if you really want to get technical I didn't think much of Team Fortress 2 at first, but because it was bundled in The Orange Box, I found it completely worth it. Hell, you got a great quantity of games in Orange Box and it was at the same price L4D sold for.
I say it's a money ploy because L4D2, despite changes, doesn't seem like it really does anything new. I'm not like those L4D fanboys who think that they've been screwed because of the short release and are worried about the first game. I'm more of worried about this bullshit excuse to sell part of a game for full price. All L4D, and what I know of L4D2 to be, is multi-player. There isn't much else you can do with it, aside from single player with the computer taking up the slack for the other players. That isn't how the game is meant to be played, since it's obviously stressed that it should be played with others.
Maybe it's because I'm more of an old school gamer, but I don't think lack of content is a good excuse to put a game out at full price. Multi-player has almost always been seen as additional content to the full package, not what should make it worth the price that it is. Same reason why I'm not fond of Halo 3. I can understand that the sole demand of some games, which is very sad to be honest, is just to play online. This is perfectly fine, but if the game is solely geared for online, or has limited single player content, it's not a full game.
Of course, I'm just simply ranting about this matter. Despite my criticism, I am rather looking forward to L4D2. I think it'll offer some interesting new aspects to the formula and looks to be improving a great deal of things. However, it also needs to be understood as to why people consider this to be more of L4D 1.5. "

New L4D 2

"I'm mixed about the matter.I agree with a great deal of fans, which is something that journalists seem to misunderstand as greed, that Valve needs to deliver more on the content they promised. Left 4 Dead really isn't much of a game when you look at how much your paying for. Considering that Team Fortress 2 has a ton of content and extensive additional content and it's priced at $20 for the stand-alone version, it's absurd for them to of released a game that really doesn't have much more content than TF2 at a full game price. I bought my copy when it was half price for Valentine's Day and even then I feel it wasn't worth the price. Yes, L4D delivers lots of action and adventure, but it gets old quick. It's also very disappointing with the lack of support Valve has put into L4D. No, I don't think Valve owes me anything, but I think they should follow through with their words. Even if you look at it from a business aspect, screwing your customers over doesn't increase business.
However, I do think that while a years worth of time isn't enough to really do anything significantly different, L4D 2 does show quite a few minor changes that may make it very interesting to see. As it stands now, no, it's not worth 50 bucks and I'm not going to buy it when it comes out. Maybe if they drop the price, but even then there is something far more important. Personally, I want to see what additional support they'll offer L4D, because this is most likely going to determine how much support L4D 2 gets as well, or so I'm assuming.
Who knows, I guess we'll just have to see what Valve has in store for the future."

You know this, yet still knowing this you're asking for your account to be deleted, despite knowing that it won't be.I'm not sure why people want their accounts to be deleted. Just simply stop coming to the website or if you do, just don't sign in. If you don't use it, then there's no problem of just not coming here anymore.
I've always wondered what significant purpose deleting the account serves. If you don't come to this site that often, or want to stop coming here, then just do so."

"There are.There are lots.
There is no law against making English based anime websites.
Not only are there plenty of anime sites, but there are many of English websites to buy anime off of as well, so you don't have to buy just locally.
Places like rightstuf.com or even a site like amazon.com works as well.
All you have to do is search google and you'd find this information out =/."

Granted some families may be a bit more old fashion in beliefs, but no one is confined to living a certain way in life. If someone doesn't feel like settling down, they shouldn't. The worst thing you can possibly do is force yourself to do something you don't want to. Everyone loses in a case like that."

Will the PS3 die???
5 months 3 weeks ago
"Did you know that what you just said is a contradiction? It is.
When a system dies, they stop production. When production stops, it means that the system will be harder to find.
As for in terms of availability, isn't the fact that it's difficult to get a hold of means that it's selling? I certainly thought so. Also, in response to another part of your post, the PS3 has actually had improved sales in the past year in comparison to previous years.
It's been confirmed for some time now that Final Fantasy 13 will be appearing on the 360 as well. Hell, it's the main reason why the Bluray version of Final Fantasy Advent Children won't have the FF 13 demo on it when it's released Stateside, yet the Japan version does. It'll still be a matter to see how the quality compares as well as the number of discs 360 owners will need to swap."

"Certain things linger with people. It generally stems from confrontations like that and even despite the fact that he may be a good person, it may of just been the way that it happened that really irks you. Maybe he bumped into you really hard, or perhaps it felt like he was doing it on purpose.I can say that certain times I feel similar, though it's more temporary than anything else. I've only felt like that about a few people and generally they'll been jerks. Sometimes I've been wrong and sometimes I've been right, but I can't say it's ever lasted for more than an hour.
Sometimes it's best to just sit down and think really hard about why your being like that. It's more worth it to forgive and forget, especially since it sounds like he was rather polite about it, than to still remain bitter. However, I can somewhat understand as to why you are."

"I buy more than the average person does, but I would never put myself in debt by bying video games. Usually I set some aside and if I don't have enough, I don't buy any. I'm not much for sacrificing food or rent money to go towards gaming. To me, gaming is something I have enjoyed since I was 6, but it's not something I feel is a necessity.I do have to agree with hatesyou as well, I'd highly recommend seeing someone about that. To me it sounds, to be blunt, like your rather addicted. If at the very least come up with a plan to where you don't get yourself into debt. "

PSP Go
5 months 3 weeks ago
"I think there is still a bit of a misunderstanding on the PSP Go, so I'll help clarify a few things. I will admit that my original post was before I found out that they were going to continue production of the PSP-3000, so I'm not 'switching sides' or anything like that. As stated, this basically comes down to personal preference and while I like some of the new ideas I don't think I'll be trading in my PSP to pick this up.Deerstalker actually covered this is his previous post, something that I didn't find out until E3. Actually, Sony is releasing this with the PSP-3000, which is the current model. The PSP Go is for those who prefer only the system, so you don't have to deal with UMD cases and the likes. However, they will continue to sell the PSP-3000, which is basically the newest model of the PSP Slim. I doubt they'll be going all digital with their games, but I'd imagine that they might with some games, like Patapon 2. I think this is great, because they won't be alienating the rest of us who have the most recent model, like myself. I just hope that other games won't be taking the DL route like Patapon 2 and if they do, provide physical copies as well.
I figured I'd respond to this with another quote.
I don't mean to be rude, but that doesn't seem to be that significantly smaller. While I do agree with you on the aspect that they have made the screen larger, and with the PSP-3000 they made it the largest yet for the PSP, I don't think this is a terrible drop. It's not like they went from the original PSP screen size to what the GameGear screen size was. I imagine their will be a bit of a difference, but I don't think it'd be as night and day as you think it might be. Of course this is also more of just a personal nitpick.
To Kyosuke : Since I quoted you so much, I figured I'd share some good news with you."

"but then what would be the point of releasing a separate system if it's going to have practically the same style as the DS? I can understand why you don't like it, but personally I think it's an improvement. Though, I'm worried if it'll feel flimsy or not.
But wouldn't that be too many buttons? It works for controllers, because that's all it is. A portable system is both the system as well as the controller. Try to imagine a larger version of the PS3/360 controller with a screen and there you have it. I think it works perfectly for fighting games. Keep in mind that not all fighting games use a large amount of buttons.
They offer handhelds for those that want gaming on the go. For those, like you, that prefer playing on a larger screen, consoles are the way to go. I personally think that the screen is plenty big and if I have any issues I can just buy a set of cables from Sony for 15 bucks to plug into my TV so I can play it like that."

The death of R rated blockbusters
5 months 3 weeks ago
"Why is that a problem?
Things like this really confuse me. Movies have become more risque over the years. I've seen some PG movies recently that, a few years ago, would of been marked as PG-13 and even with PG-13, some of the would of been 'R' rated movies. The standards are being set higher lately. I don't know about you, but if I had kids I wouldn't want to take them to a PG-13 movies if it showed bare tits in it. That becomes more of an argument of the rating system, which I think is rather good the way it is.
As for going towards ratings, it really depends. I felt that Die Hard 1-3 and Terminator 1 and 2 were very well done films, but I honestly think that it doesn't need to be 'R' rated to be great. Those movies were great due to many different factors, like actors and the script and the director. Everything plays a large part in a great movie. I felt that the new Terminator movie did a pretty decent job, though I don't think ANY movie will be able to surpass the second, just like no Die Hard movie will surpass the first. Though I also believe a lot of this has to do with the times as well. I feel that a great deal of movies these days just are not that good. I can't honestly say that there has been a time in the past few years that I've been interested in seeing a movie. A lot has to do with the content that you cover, as previously mentioned. If you really want to get into the details and really depict a scene, depending on what it is, it may be much more violent. It really all depends on the movie itself. I really felt that Terminator Salvation was really more suited for PG-13 and I will admit I have a tough time seeing Terminator 2 not being an 'R' movie and still retaining a lot of what it is.
I think the movie being good has a lot more to do with it than simply rating. Although that's more personal than anything else, but it's my firm belief."

PSP Go

"This is what I'm really upset about. This was an absolutely horrible idea in my book. While I do agree that UMD is sometimes rather frustrating, depending on how well the game was coded, it's not nearly as annoying as download. Basically, their going to have to make much larger cards and then we're going to have to purchase them in order to be able to download a good portion of games. Judging by what I've seen of the redesign, it looks like they've completely gotten rid of the UMD all together, so does that mean that previous titles will be available for download? If so, how will that work, how will I be able to prove that I have purchased a title I already have on UMD so I don't have to buy it again for download? I know I would personally like to put my whole library on there. Though, in all fairness I don't know how big PSP games are. I personally feel that they should of saved sometimes like this for the PSP 2 or something. This should of not been released during the original PSP's lifetime.
From what they've shown, be it official or not, I actually like the new layout. It looks to be far more comfortable, though with how thin it is could be a rather large issue. I already feel that the PSP itself is rather thin and I feel like it could be easily broken (I've had all of the models) but I do think that it'll be more comfortable on the hands and will make it a much better MP3 player than it's larger counterpart.
The PSP has always been criticized for it's design, so I believe that's the main reason for this redesign. Considering that the DS has drastically changed in size as well as design, I think it's great that Sony decided to go one step further. As for touch screen, I think it would be a horrible idea for Sony to go that route. First, they'd be treading too much into the DS territory. While it's not a bad idea, that's basically the main gimmick of the DS and it would also alienate all of their previous games, so basically you'd be getting a mix of games like the DS owners get now with the DS and DSi. Honestly speaking, I wouldn't want to have to pay more money for a touch screen either, especially when I highly doubt I would really use it.
All in all, I'm excited and somewhat nervous as well. I just recently bought the 3000 model and I really don't feel like upgrading again, but from the rumored technical specs of the PSP GO that have been released, I wouldn't mind getting it either. Price point will be a big issue for me as well as what they decide to do. I know they can't add a second analog stick because it'd be worthless for any of the previous titles that weren't programmed with one, but I hope that the changes they'll make will be much larger than what they've made every time they jump up a model."

Newlywed Wife Sells Husband’s PS3 for Fun
5 months 4 weeks ago
"Regardless of however she felt, she basically discarded his personal property. If I was married to her, I'd sit her down and have a good talk with her. Not just a casual conversation but a deep, serious talk.Video games or not, it's the fact that she discarded his possessions without consulting him, just because she felt uncomfortable with it. Considering they just got married, this might possibly lead to even further problems down the road and she's not helping matters by doing things secretly. It'd wouldn't be a stretch to say that his trust in her would be damaged by that. I mean, if she kept that from him, what else could she be keeping?
As I previously mentioned, she needs to be talked to. Regardless of how she feels, no one should go about discarding personal property. Being asked to do so, or talking about the situation and just doing it without regard are two completely different things. She showed that she really doesn't care about how she feels and if she has a problem with something, she'll take action on her own. I could understand if it was offensive, or as previously mentioned he was a complete addict, but even then she needs to show more respect. Especially since their married. If I were in his shoes, I'd start to think that I married too soon.

inFamous
6 months 1 day ago
"So I haven't made a video game topic in awhile, so I figured I would. I also figured I'd skip the traditional back story supplied for this game, since information for this game is literally almost on every gaming site.I just picked up inFamous a few days ago. I originally didn't plan on it, being that I figured I would only get one new super hero style sandbox title and that was going to be Prototype. In all fairness, I hadn't seen too much on inFamous, minus a few details here and there and some screenshots, but when I saw the review from IGN while I was at my girlfriend's, I was hooked. A lot of people are fans of being able to go neutral in games and while I do enjoy that, I also love having clear cut decisions. I find that it forces someone to actually chose a path to go down and let me tell you they offer plenty of decisions in the game. I'm roughly 3 or so hours in the game, possibly more, and I'm loving it!
I've found that inFamous offers a great variety of things to do and some of the best sandbox action I've ever seen. I won't lie, I'm actually sick of games like GTA. Mainly because I've played so many of them and while I love the sandbox style of gaming, I yearned for something new and different and inFamous provides just that. Right away, the game wants to let you know that you can travel down two distinct paths. You can be good, become a savior of the people or you can be evil and they will fear you, throwing rocks at you and booing you. A city that will interact with you based upon your actions and treat you accordingly. What's more is after an explosion that sends Empire City, the city in which the game takes place, into an almost Escape from L.A. style setting that looks absolutely amazing. Sucker Punch did NOT skimp on the visuals at all and it shows with everything. I'm especially fond of the way that Cole looks, everything is so fine detailed.
I've read up complaints about the controls and while I will admit it does take a little getting use to, their far from horrible. The game provides a very short tutorial on how to do certain things and also offers a crouch command, which was the only real thing I had some issues with during my playtime. I found that it took me no more than a few minutes, if even, to get a good grasp of the controls. Pretty soon you'll be scaling tall buildings and fighting off the Reapers, former drug dealers that united to form a gang that has control of Empire City. I felt that the game doesn't throw too much at you, but just enough to where everything has a place on the controller.
inFamous is a PS3 exclusive, so this topic is more directed towards those owners, but in also regards to anyone else. With Prototype, another super hero style sandbox title, coming out pretty soon, it seems we'll all have our fill of being a superhero. So, I was curious about how everyone else felt about this game. All comments are welcomed."
