Book Smart or Street Smart?

"You been watching 'The Apprentince' ? lolz...It's all a matter of what situation you are put in.
Their names are exactly what they mean. A person with street smarts would be one that understands the realistic social aspect of life and would know how to deal with people (or so it may be thought of).
A person with book smarts would be a person who is academically more knowledgeable. However most of their knowledge would be based upon theory and facts and their would be less practical knowledge.
If you were to look from the outside, it would seem that the street smarts would have the advantage, as they would know the user needs. However, they will probably be the ones who'd have to hire some book smarts as they will probably be the ones who will help develop (invent) whatever it is their achieving.
Book Smarts focuses more on the heavy jobs anyway, perhaps science and IT? Where as the street smarts would have a job that would be more free roamed...
Anyway, i don't know >.< It's all about how they use their abilities. I'm not book smarts nor street smarts, what do i know?"

I would think that in most of the cases, they wouldn't be a so called "genius". If one was a genius, i'd assume they want to work in a different type of industry (that is unless they had the passion for modeling to begin with).
However, just cause you might look good, doesn't make you a genius, i'd think that would be quite obvious no?"

"Hmmm I guess the most obvious things I would want to buy are:-all the new gen consoles (just cause I want to experience all the games)
-pimped out and top of the line, fully customized PC, just cause I can :P
-get two cars, one nice car and another to play with :P
-a nice small house with the best internet connection I can get :)
-sprinklers... just cause their awesome.

"I rarely take notes at all, i don't think im able to study from my own notes, i rather read through resources over and over again than to summarize then myself... but then again, it depends what kind of studies you are doing... for example in my english literature classes, i have no choice but to make notes, because i barely am able to comprehend half of what I read >.< damn you shakespeare! lol "View
