"Kayten, you might want to control you exclamation marks there, you went a tad bit overkill :PBut yes, with your opinion on the anime adaptations of the manga - both of Ken Akamatsu's greatest ones [Love Hina and Negima] were quite weak in animation but the content and comedy was still good so I still enjoyed them thoroughly.
One of the very later volumes of Negima! is being turned into a new anime due for release in around February of 2009 and is called "Mahō Sensei Negima! ~Shiroki Tsubasa Ala Alba~" and so far the animation and the way upon which they have stuck to the manga looks like it will fill most of emptiness the Negima-addicted fans have recieved from the other two manga adaptations! I can't wait for it, because it simply looks so much better than it's predecessors [Both of the separate Negima! and Negima!? story lines] with it's animation and the fact that it appears to stick to the manga storyline a lot better than the others.

"Latest chapter is currently 217which was just released [Scanlated, that is] yesterday, and the next chapter is due to be released [Released in Japan that is, not scanlated or such] on the 2nd of June. Story is starting to make me get on the edge of my seat whilst reading it now and the suspension is killing me, I can't wait to find out how it will all turn out! >_<

"It does not look like anyone has posted since my last post ;_; - Oh well, at least I can entertain myself! Chapter 215 just came out and damn is it starting to open up a Pandora's Box of secrets!It is a shame Ken Akamatsu is taking a break and the next chapter (Or issue, cannot remember) won't be on sale till' 4 June (And that's in Japan, so it will be later for us leeches of the scanlators :P) but I reckon his art and the effort he puts into it is worth the wait :)

"Agreed, Ken Akamatsu is one of THE BEST manga artists in my opinion. I love the way he draws all his characters unique and the females are all cute :DAnd OH EM GEE! Chapter #213 came out just today! Read it, loved it!
@Nitemare: Yea, I really tip my hat to those dedicated to scanlating the raws and then distributing them for free without getting any financial gain - they put time and effort in all just for us fans :) [The same goes with non-licensed anime and how fansubbing teams all work together to distribute it just for the community - truly amazing!]

"Yea, Eva-chan is my favourite character! She looks so cool as a vampire :3Yea I read chapter 212 not too long ago. It's annoying having to wait for scanlations to come out though - I mean it was all fine and dandy when I could read like 5-6 chapters a week but then when you have to wait for it to come out it gets a tad bit annoying. But then again it also increases the anticipation of wanting to read it :D
As for #212:
Can't wait for #213. On another note, reading different volumes of the Love Hina [By the same manga artist, Ken Akamatsu, and damn do I love his drawings] and I didn't realise how much different the timeline was to that of the anime!

"I'm not quite sure of the volume I am up to but I am up to the most recent chapter (Chapter 209) and the story is getting REALLY interesting with some really good twists and turns! My favourite character I reckon would have to be Evangeline. Her dark history is very intriguing (And vampires = Win in the first place :P) and it appears she knows a lot more about Nagi's party and Asuna's past then we are originally led on to believe. I also like how Evangeline can switch between her pure evil mode and her fun and playful mode - quite entertaining to watch (Or read? Meh, one of the two :P).As for the manga compared to the anime, I really enjoyed the anime it is just a shame that it was only 26 (It was 26 yea?) episodes and created an ending not seen in the anime. But none the less the anime was also quite interesting, especially the ending
Oh Hakusa, how do I go about joining your Negima group?
Also, has anyone seen the 'Negima!?' alternate storyline anime?

"Everyone has different opinions - try and respect that. Some people like this anime, others do not, but that does not mean you can say people who like it are wrong and this anime is crap. You saying the anime is horrible is YOUR opinion, try not to force it upon other people.
I for one enjoyed this anime, yes it was heavily fan-serviced but it made me laugh and provided me with entertainment so I do not really care :) - On another note I might check out the manga because I heard (From a lot of people, including you just now Night hehe) that it is far better than the anime."

"In my opinion, I really don't think it's going to turn out that well. That video gives a little bit more into the acting and characters and from looking at this I can say I am generally not looking forward to it, the characters all look to old for their depicted age and Rena-chan is not even wearing her signature uniform :("

"I try and stay away from over-hyped and extremely long anime because I doubt I would be able to retain interest with over 100+ episodes [There is a certain limit when a series runs out of ideas and you just end up getting recycled scenarios and filler events]I stopped watching Naruto a loong time ago (Like at around episode 30 or so) because [In my opinion] it was just too childish and aimed at a younger audience. I prefer my anime to be more mature and contain more serious complications and problems. The uncut version is a bit better though, they cut a lot out in the censored version. [And if I hear "Believe it!" one more time, I swear my head will xplosm]
As for Bleach, it seems too over-hyped and long to gather any of my interest. "

"I do not think I could watch my anime like that, I would spend too much time looking for symbolism and analysing it that I would not be able to read the subtitles and miss the whole anime all together hehe. I mainly just watch my anime for entertainment, not for analytical purposes but I can understand where you are coming from.Studying Media also changes your view when you watch movies and the like and I have found myself looking at the different camera angles and symbolism used in movies without even thinking because you've studied so much of it (So much theory and not enough practical work in Media ;_;) that it starts to become innate. But that's only been for movies, never for anime though :D"

"I love this series to death, it's absolutely hilarious and has some pretty impressive fight scenes and (To some extent...) a good plot. Sometimes the ecchi gets a little repetitive but it does not stop me from laughing for ages :DEpisode 12 is where it got really interesting, and now I cannot wait for episode 13 (The last episode ;_;). Episode 12 was pulled off really well and it actually left me severely surprised at the sudden change and seriousness of the anime which I thought was brilliant. My thoughts on episode 12:
It's a shame it ends at 13 though and I am really excited to see how they are going to pull it off all in one episode! "

" [Note: Before you read this, please note I did check the tutorial sticky and I got a bit confused, going to the group section led me to a tutorial page but all the links were dead and such :(]Recently I have been thinking about going into the wallpaper creation field (Browsing through this website and seeing the helpful and active community sparked it, actually :P) so I have been looking around for tutorials.
I have very little creative ability (Stick figures anyone?) so that's a huge downside to creating wallpapers but from what I have heard creating wallpapers does not require as much artistic ability as I thought (Is this true?). Could anyone direct me (Or just give general advice I suppose) on whereabouts to start creating simple wallpapers?
