"I'm one of those types of people who tend to be able to express themselves better with written words than with my voice. I guess I'm just a slow and ponderous sort of person, and in voice conversations I have a hard time responding fast enough without seeming rude, which means I don't think through my responses well enough.

"Depends on what sort of gifts there are. If there isn't really anything special, there isn't much fun to be had by extending the time and letting the person suffer by knowing he/she is getting something good. :P So if its like this year, where there really isn't anything special to give or get, we open it Christmas Eve. If there is something good, it gets delayed till Christmas."

Sometimes people are willing to compromise who they really are in order to fit in with a crowd, so they will have a sense of being in a society. Well, its one of those trains of thoughts questions.

The philosopher Jeremy Bentham (the man who really pushed for Utilitarianism) said that there were two basic needs of a human, the pursuit of pleasure and the avoidance of pain. So if you're a Utilitarian, sex is a need no matter how you slice it because it brings pleasure.

However, I'm on the vein that pleasure is a want, but reproduction is a need.

Yup, sex is a want, people have sex just to satisfy their lustful desires. Reprodcution however, is a need as we need to reproduce to continue our family bloodline.

Its not just the bloodline, but keeping humanity in existance is dependant on sexual reproduction. People can try to write it off that the world is so overpopulated that sex isn't a need anymore, but I think it really is."

Reproduce or adopt

"There's really something spectacular with the connection between a mother and her child. It something adoption just can't accomplish. I'm not saying adoptions come out bad, they're great really. Children do need to be adopted, and they deserve a good family, but the point is that a child and his/her parents start bonding even before birth, so adoptions end up being awkward even if the child was too young to remember."

Embarassing Moments

"Yeah, going to a new school really sucks. When I was in 1st grade, I was around 7. The bullies always liked pickign on the new kids, and everyone always kinda went with the bullies. I was chased to the top of playground toys and had rocks thrown at me. >< It was horrible.
But me and the youth group were iceblocking at the end of one semester. Iceblocking is where you buy a big block of ice at a grocery store and take it to the top of a big hill, fold a towel on the top of it, and go sliding down on it. It was really fun, untill the event. A girl got mad at her boyfriend and threw a clump of ice-cubes at his shoulder. It shattered and one of the shards went into my eyebrow. >< It was so embarrasing to bleed so much from getting it with ice. And it was embarrasing at school when the girl would see me, start crying and saying how sorry she was."

I can tell you from past experience that can be better off being a little brave when it comes to relationships. Don't be afraid to get into them, just watch what you do when you get in one. I know I've always been shy about getting into relationships because I'm afraid to be rejected, and afraid to get hurt when I get in one. I don't know where things would be if I did got more open with girls, but I think I would carry myself with more confidence.
When it comes to breaking up, you can't let it hold youd own. If you have a lot of relationships that don't work out, its easy to get down and say that you aren't meant to have love. It just means that you havn't found the right one yet, that's all! So when you break up, its important to keep your head up!"

"I live in the south-centeral US and we really don't have any anime either, just stuff that shows up on the kiddy shows and Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. That's why all the anime I watch comes from sites like fansub.tv. You're limited to unlicenced anime, but you can bet its better than Americanized anime."
