They feel an immediate attraction and decide to marry after three or four months, then they realize they are marrying someone they don't really know and that they were actually incompatable.

"I'd have say neither is good by itself.
Happiness without truth is no real happiness. I could have something or someone I want, but the question would remain: Is this real? Do I deserve this? And in the case of relationships, can I depend on this person to remain with me, and remain faithful? Truth can only answer these questions.
On the other hand, truth by itself can be very cold. It shows nothing but the cold, hard facts. Truth can relieve the mind, but it cannot warm the heart.
So happiness without truth, or truth without happiness, both lead to unfulfilling lives. I'd rather have both or neither."

"Sometimes I can turn the clock back 10 years to back when I was 15. Sure, I was the unpopular kid in school, but at least then I didn't have credit card debt, didn't have car expenses, didn't have oodles of student loans, and lookign foreward what I have in store is work to pay off said debt and try to support a family.
So I guess all I can say is while it seems bad now, you also have to realize that if you're not careful it can get worse. Its up to you to make the best out of the years of your life, and in your teens is when you are most able to do it without having loads of other responsabilities to look out for."

Since I go to a Christain university, a lot of class ended up being Christain responses to certain styles of thought instead of looking at the style of thought itself.
