Umm... I tried vectoring (for the first time)... and this is the result that I'm getting. (This isn't completed yet)

I don't plan on coloring it... but I do plan on putting in some grey tones in it...

If anyone has any critiques of this (i.e. I know the index finger is a bit weird... or the curve at the waist is weird...) please comment! :)

Umm... if anyone has experience with coloring it in grey tones... I'm pretty new at this... so any sort of advice would be appreciated.

Suzuka Wallpaper

"Description says it all. I've never vectored before, and I just found this "pen" tool on Adobe Photoshop CS2. So, it's been rough trying to figure out how everything is done.

Right now, I'm putting in so many layers into stuff like the eye. I understand that I'm going to have to create highlights or shadows for the body and arms and such. Also, I need to add in the blankets.

Before I cause myself any more time and pain... may I get some feedback on how I might make it easier to vector all of this? I don't have Illustrator (I think I heard that was an easier vector program...). Or, if possible, can anyone give me some feedback as to what might be missing on what's currently in progress? Thanks a bunch!

Minor Error in Wallpaper save name

In this wallpaper, I downloaded it, but when I "saved as..." on my computer, I get "97dff87602696ca388a6fdb944526abbc9a0a431.jpg" instead of the usual "[AnimePaper]wallpapers_Mobile-Suit-Gundam-SEED-Destiny_Kalico_-edit981" or something similar to that.

So, minor error... if someone is willing to correct this.

Oh also, this is a sidenote: something that I just noticed:

I wonder if it's possible to code it so that A is changed to An when the word after starts with a vowel? I think that this wasn't a problem in APv4.

I think that what people stereotype as the hottest uhh "assets" of a girl... sometimes don't appeal to me. For example, I value the cuteness of a girl's face more than how big her boobs are. I like the slim figure more than uhh... what else is supposed to be sexy? A big butt? =/ Prolly.

But it's the same with personality. I like specific aspects of a girl's personality. Sometimes the airhead ditziness doesn't work for me, but other times, it just makes the person seem so happy-go-lucky that I think she's super cute for being that way. Sometimes, I like a girl who isn't so sure of herself, but other times, I like that sort of confidence in a girl.

Ah yes. You can't completely like someone based on just how they look or just how they act. You need to have a nice combo of both. :)"

"Yo. This is not a bug, but I basically found a loophole that wasn't covered in AP4, either. It takes you to the page where the actual jpg file is located. I'm sure that if I can figure this out, others may, also.

Is sex a WANT oR a NEED?

"Well, instinctively... it's sorta a need. Psychologically, it satisfies us... at least on some level.

But then again, I think that excessive sex or sexual thoughts are merely a need. Just because of all the excessiveness that's presented to us. Just look at something like drinking coke versus just drinking water. We don't NEED coke... the bare minimum would be satisfactory.

The relationship aspect... the reproduction aspect - that's the bare minimum for a need. When we gratuitously go and have sex... err... over and over again -- use condoms or other contraceptives because we enjoy having sex... bah. I think that might be pushing it a bit. If you're going to have sex, be serious. Take responsibility. It's the ultimate act in which you can proclaim your love for someone.

Err... I guess that's just my view on it. :P

I think that abstaining from sex until you truly believe you love someone is the best (moral) thing one can do for a relationship. ;P"

This is from the 2007 Suzuka Calendar import. I tried sketching Honoka from Jan and Feb... but agghh! Maybe I should scan the actual picture... but... my scanner isn't big enough. >_<;;

Hahah... but yeh. For those of you that have seen what honoka looks like from the manga or anime -- please critique!

I know that I messed up her face somehow... but I don't know how. >_<; I fixed eyes... but these still look different.

I know that I messed up the perspective... her *ahem* boobs are pointing up... so I needed to make the bottom of her bigger.. or something. the camera angle is pointing from ground up... but in my picture, it looks like it's from just a slightly lower angle. so.. it looks weird.

Edit: oh. sorry about the messiness in there... I used the back of a scientific paper (random scratch paper) to draw on... and it scanned in... =/

Hahah but overall, I'm not dissatisfied with it. It's a good job for doing a rough sketch it at 4am...while procrastinating studying organic chemistry. >_<;
