What do you think of youth nowadays?

"Don't blame the parents, blame the society and technology. Thats my personal opinion but if i had to blame anyone for the way people live nowadays i would blame them. Why i think blaming parents wrong is because they were raised by their parents the way they are raised their sons and daughters and think that is the way it should be, even though they maybe wrong. However in many cases parents try to raise their kids in a different way they've been raised by their parents, they try not to make the same mistakes and eventually fail at it.

Most of the them are too afraid to talk with their "precious" children about things like "sex", "drugs" and "guns" (or whatever else you may think off). That is when technology comes to action, with the access to the Internet and other information centers kids can access to the things they wouldn't have until the age of 15-18 if they lived 20-30 years ago. Its not that pre-teens are growing too fast, its that they are learning too fast what they shouldn't have until the certain age.

IMO.

PS: Looking back at what i wrote it makes even harder not to blame parents.. because in the end the way we are raised is their mistake and they fail in being good fathers and mothers. One can be caused by one entity or another, responsability is still theirs."

"I would say that most of my friends don't give a damn if i like anime or not, it wont change the fact that we are friends if i watch it or not.

Agree on the clothing also, my wardrobe consist with a few jeans, T-shirts, few shirts (3 i think..) and a suit.. . Some of the guys i know just bash me everytime i wear jeans+shirt clothing but who the heck cares what they think, its not that i am wearing like a homeless bum, those clothes are comfortable.. ."

Small review:

The story is set in the Senkoku period. The gist of the plot is that a ronin called Nanashi (meaning 'nameless') saves a young boy Kotarou and his dog Tobimaru at an abandoned temple. Kotarou has no family, is pursued by a mysterious militia organization from China and hires Nanashi as his bodyguard. Nanashi has 'sealed' his sword due to some reason in his past, and sometimes he is disturbed by nightmares. He has abandoned his name along with his past. The man who pursues Kotarou is a man called Rarou. Rarou obeys an old man called Byakuran and is a membr of the Chinese militia. He is very skilled in his sword and it seems from his eye and hair colours that he is not just a Chinese. Unlike his companions in the militia, he has no concept of 'king' and he just wants to fight with the strong.

"Lets see, I hit my had once or twice (not vital, still have most of brain cells working), i scratched my back to the point i have a scar and not to forget the newest injury - i hit my left elbow on the edge of the window, the only problem is that the window is made out of metal (dunno what type, doesn't metter). Its been 3 weeks and it is still hurts as hell, 2 weeks to go untill my meeting with the Doctor . It comes to the point i cant sleep normaly, well.. unlucky i guess ^^. Not the first time and not the last, so the survival is guaranteed."

"ShaggyM, the 20 years later chapter definitely left behind many unrevealed mysteries.. . Actually i am a bit disappointed in the last chapter, because i though that Jo would tell us more about the heroes lives. Well.. we cant have everything i guess :). Anyway Jo did say that she will be writing another book, after a little or huge break (we can only guess), and write more about their lives after Voldemort have died.. . Cant wait!"

"Well, this discussion wont go anywhere unless you will be more specific :).
Anyway i guess i will start. At the moment i am re-reading whole Harry Potter series as i find the books pretty interesting and mysterious (even though i know what would happen and when). And of course for those who didn't read it, i would recommend at least giving it a try, i think you won't be disappointed with the books.

However i am slightly interested in ordering "Imagining the Tenth Dimension" - a book by Rob Bryanton."

You can't point at something and call it wrong just because you don't like it. It may be wrong from your point of view but it may not from another (Part of Animpaper community). As an example i should take myself, I've seen the video and i found it hilarious, also i think you lost the point of the video completely.

Lets not forget that you have 67 friends (@ Animepaper), all 67 of them will tell you that they have seen the video, will you remove them from your friendlist ? Thats very mature from your part, don't start judging people based on stereotypes.. .
