After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Mathematics past papers

"Checking through the post history, `hmyip has never posted any maths papers on the main boards (unless it's in the group subforum which he posted in).If you want past maths papers, you are better off asking your teachers/lecturers or checking out the school/university/public library."

Akiranyo's Room ;3

"Nice. How I wish bedrooms in asian houses are as big as those in the west. But then, cleaning it up would be a pain.I finally moved to a new house yesterday. Bought a Panasonic Viera 42 inch plasma tv (42PV80H) and a Pioneer DV-500V K (I think that was what's written on the box) DVD player for my room. Mounted the plasma TV on a wall bracket and the DVD player is housed inside a shelf (had some problems with the shelf, so waiting for a replacement shelf to be sent over from the store). Sound system I have deferred it for later since the TV's speakers so far seems sufficient enough for my room.
Maybe once I set up my pc (lots of stuff still sitting in boxes) and wait for my internet line to be transferred to my new home (currently have internet access only in office), then I'll show you what I've bought. =)"

"Been there, done that.http://www.animepaper.net/forums/General-Discussion/62792
People are free to join or not if they feel like it. I browse around sites like ANN's forums a lot for info but never have an account there. Same applies to guests here. Maybe they are content looking at thumbnails, or from the wallers' link, they just head for the wallers' own websites and check out the wallpapers there. There are people who are more into Facebook than forums. Similarly, there are people who surf the net for sites other than community sites. They could have chanced upon this site, browse around and move on.
The "Critical_connect(1040, Too many connections)" part is already covered in the Problems & Suggestions sticky (just CTRL+F the keyword). It is not due to traffic overloading the server and it will always occur at a fixed time on a daily basis."

Account/Papers gone...
11 months 5 days ago
"Dear Xenomat,This does not belong in the General Discussion subforum. Moving it to Problem & Suggestions subforum.
You mentioned that you registered an account and donated 25$ in October 2006 in which the account subsequently disappeared. However, the account which you are currently using now was re-registered on April 1st, 2007, 1:48 AM EDT (6 months after the donation). The 1 year and 9 months (as at 26 December 2008) delay in putting forth your claim of right to papers after re-registering as well as the lack of activity thus far places serious doubt on the authenticity of your case. I'd expect this issue to have been raised at the time of re-registering your account or within a considerable timeframe soonafter, in which the post history would have reflected that.
Furthermore, over the past 4 years in which I have been here (both as a normal member and moderator), no account purging has ever taken place nor have I encountered any case of deleted member accounts. Members forgetting the names of their accounts, yes but members who have had their accounts deleted out of the blue, no.
If you did donate, then you should have a copy of the Paypal transaction receipt in your e-mail as documentary evidence since the only method available for donating is via Paypal. Claims without evidence holds no water as there is always the possibility of someone trying to wring out some papers using the "missing account" excuse (in which there was a similar case a long time ago but was shot down due to the claimant's inability to provide evidence to back up the alleged donation when we requested for one).
Best regards
DIAS"

Section for Vectors
11 months 1 week ago
"A vector clarification checkbox serves no purpose. All images are screened by moderators with submission rules applied to the said images. We know a vector from a non-vector submission when we see one.
If a logo can easily meet the requirements, a badge can also do the same.
Adding dead space does not change the size of a usable image. The end result will still stay the same nonetheless.
Tag them as "vectors". Then you can share your "resources" with other members.
Again, a section solely for vectors is redundant and out of the question. This has been mentioned over and over again, both in this thread and in the past. Be it having two categories per title or dumping all vectors from all series into a single category, it is messy and impractical, administrative-wise.

Tutorial Section
11 months 1 week ago
"There are already many tutorials for Photoshop out there in the internet. Most wallers Google for such sites (some having extensive bookmarks related to Photoshop tutorials). And it is easy to plagiarize tutorials since all you need to do is just repeat the whole tutorial steps for the images and copy the instructions before submitting them. And is a tutorial on how to extract images or to replicate a water ripple effect deserving of papers when there are already similar tutorials on some other sites (i.e. rehashing of an existing tutorial)? Who's to say that there could be element of fraud whereby the person could have taken the tutorial and tweaked the words around to make it look like he did the tutorial himself?"
