"Hmm i'll just say that umm..
1. The reason things look so plain... because it is plain, and plain isn't necessarily bad.
2. The scan abit blurry.
These are the things i think your looking for in this kinda wall
1. If its goanan be plain you want a bold strong look
2. Just nice and childish
These are the things "I" think might help you improve your wall.
1. Outline everything in a nice bold black linning, makes things look more cartoony and nice.
2. Osaka seems a blurred, i'm not too sure, but i suggest clean up the scan. Or just outline it.

Notice the " on the I, this is because thats what "I" reckon will improve your paper. You or other people may not agree and thats all fine and dandy. Well anyway good luck!!"

"You can make the spirit look better by using some light effects, like some rays going down past his body. Like umm use a paint brush on a seperate layer, do some streeks donwards and then reduce the opacity of that layer to get some like awesome light visuals. O yea the black background is kinda plain."

"Yea I only got one complaint, the brick wall looks too realistic and doesnt suite the style of art that the picture is. I reckon just filter to brick wall. Try using artistic> poster edges or maybe brush strokes > ink outline. If none of those come out decent then I'm outta idea's or you cud try a new bg. Anyway Good luck."

"Yo welcome and for future purposes I suggest you type what you want to improve on it your wall or wat kinda efffect you trying to get.

Anyway I see the main problem is extraction for you. I'm not too sure but the quality of the scan on the first one kinda fuzzy. Well the first one the text abit weird but the 2nd one is good. Main problem in the second one is how you blended the character in the background and there seems to be a huge grunge brush right over the top right of her face.

A good start is work on extraction, dont just use magic lassso tool and then use blur to compensate. You need to zoom in and use the rubbber tool or the magnet tool. Then try to create more interactive backgrounds rather then just a fusion of renders + brushes. Try to use stocks baby, vectoring is also good.

Either way your on a good start, better then me when I first started."

"Well I'm upto ep 15 so far, and I'm actually kinda dissapointed. The 2nd series is not as good as the old.. well so far anyway. I mean all they are doing is sticking fanservice and lots of it. What happened to the storyline? I dunnoe I might be just me, I'm going mad or somefing. I mean sometimes it gets really good and involving and others its just fanservice mixed with lotsa teen drama. I guess for me the characters charm seem like they are fading away... owell maybe it'll get better in a few eps."

"I think the bloody "darkness" text on da walls was nice. Some of the walls casts smalls shadows against the air, it looks kinda funky. It would look nicer if you more shadows to one side only. Well you really dont need to but I reckon the one with the bloody "darkness" looks awesome nice creativity."

Dw about the "DIEN" its been on every single one of my walls and there hasnt been any problems yet

Hmm I dunnoe bout the background, it was origiannly 400x400 I busted lotsa time trying to retrace / enlarge and give it a distorted look as if it were wrecked. I'll try some stuff and see how that turn out."

"Theres serval reasons that you would want a ps3, it owns so much. Anyway pulling random info from another site. Here are some reasons to get one

Dual-Screen and 1080p Support
1080p! Sweet Marie! Even if most televisions don't support it, why limit yourself to interlaced images when you can experience the glory of 1080 progressive? Support is for the weak! PS3 is forward-looking, if anything. This means when you invest in the ultimate display technology however many years down the road, PS3 will make good on your purchase by outputting the absolute best image available on the market. And according to boastful Sony reps, we'll see games running at 120fps, too (but take that with a grain of salt).

The Dual-Screen support also adds some interesting 3D potential. Layering images is a great way to fake depth. But if Killzone in full 3D isn't your cup of tea, maybe panoramic F1 racing will be? The option is certainly there. If the next Ace Combat doesn't feature dual screen-in cockpit support, we know it at least could have if it wanted to.

O yea did ya know that ps3 has capability of using hd-dvd disk.What the heck does this mean? Well it means game disks will have upto 50 freaking huge gigs of memory.

"Ok actually I think its near completion, but I'd just like to hear what other people have to say about it.
I drew the background from serveral other pics. I kinda adjusted most of the coloring to fit the pastel colored theme. I was trying to get a nice warm effect.

"Well yea simple is nice, the wall seems okay I guess. But if you wanted to improve it, I'd suggest try a different frame, move the text in betweeen the four seperate frames on the left. Play around with the text abit you might come up with something good. If you plan on moving the text down to the mid I'd suggest move the frame on da right hand side abit up so its centered."

"Hmm well the grasss and bg go terrible together and the character too. I'd suggest using a different style of bg. I think the main problem is tooo much grasss and its all over da place. I'd also suggest the grass to stop going up, at around Vivi's hands. The shades actual characters seem to look like its about dawn when the sunsets, thus iterms the blue grass doesnt not contrasts well with characters. Try using a golden orangy/yellowish grasss with a sunset bg. Stick in some rays of light and viola you got an awesome wall. "Well if your going for shapes I'd reckon you go for like a stone wall background with engravings. Well pretty get a stock of a stone wall and put some shapes that will become engravings over it and stick em on overlay.
